ABOUT HOSA

A pipeline organization for health professions, HOSA–Future Health Professionals provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition for students. HOSA, a national career and technical student organization is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and is 100% health focused.

Through participation in the HOSA National Competitive Events Program, members are preparing to be college and career ready. The program is aligned to the National Healthcare Foundation Standards. Fifty-five (55) events are divided into six (6) categories: Health Science, Health Professions, Emergency Preparedness, Leadership, Teamwork and Recognition.

HOSA, a student-led organization provides seamless transition opportunities for members to move from education to career.

HOSA has promoted career opportunities in the health professions for 39 years and has experienced 31 years of consecutive membership growth! At the HOSA 2015 National Leadership Conference, partners will have opportunities to network with nearly 8,400 future health leaders who will experience four (4) days of national competition, leadership development, teambuilding, health industry sponsored and conducted workshops, dynamic general sessions and high expectations!

HOSA provides opportunities for members to gain recognition of their knowledge and skills that are essential for health professionals. Through classroom activities, skills-based competitive events, chapter leadership roles, community service projects, and conference participation, HOSA members develop, practice, and refine personal, leadership and technical skills.

Partnership opportunities described in this packet support members in making informed decisions about their career choices. HOSA invites corporations, associations and

organizations, fundraising companies, publishers, and educators to meet conference attendees; HOSA members who are the nation’s next generation of health professionals, local chapter advisors who are health science and biomedical science teachers, along with administrators and state education agency staff.

Conference Materials

Badge Holders: Conference attendees are required to wear name badges. Sponsor logos and company information can be printed on the name badges. $2,000*

Conference Pens: Consider donating pens for all attendees so that everyone at the conference is using a pen with your brand. $4,000*

Lanyards: Add your company logo and see it around the necks of over 8,000 attendees. Customized lanyards will showcase your company logo and name. $6,000*

Judge Gifts: HOSA depends on 300 volunteers to help judge fifty-five (55) competitive events for over 6,000 student competitors. Help recognize judges with a

nice gift. $2,000*

Registration Insert: Place information in conference registration packets. Draw attention to your exhibit, product, company, school or organization by getting a

flyer in the hands of 8,400 attendees. $1,000*

HOSA has meal functions and refreshment breaks available for sponsorship.*

Scholarships

The National HOSA Scholarship Program allows partners to contribute $1,000 per award to recognize students’ academic excellence. Through a HOSA directed application process, donors are able to add selection criteria such as career goals. The VIP Scholarship Dinner allows donors to meet recipients. Scholarship donors are welcomed to the stage during the opening session, when scholarship winners are recognized and partners are highlighted for their generous contributions to the scholarship program.

One of the highlights of the HOSA National Leadership Conference is the National HOSA Competitive Events Program. Partners may select event(s) to sponsor. $7,500*

Competitive event partnerships include two (2) $1,000 scholarships for the event winner – secondary and postsecondary/collegiate, medallions, 1/2 page ad in HOSA NLC Program, logo displayed on screen during presentation of event winners and logo printed on participant certificates.
