Appreciation Notes
Kathy Edwards
I want to express my appreciation to Kathy Edwards for helping me to understand some architectural reference resources. Recently, I was working with a bunch of building codes that Kathy wanted relocated to Off-Site Shelving. I asked Kathy a specific question about the retention schedules of these items. Not only did she answer my question, she gave me some information that helped me understand the context and the use of these materials. It may have only taken a few minutes of Kathy’s time and a few keystrokes in response to an email, but I learned something I didn’t know before. I was able to pass on what I learned to one person on my team as she worked with the items.

Appreciation Notes
Sarah Lohmann
I would like to express my appreciation for Sarah Lohmann, Systems Support Manager in the Office of Library Technology. She has been helpful to me in so many different ways. If I have a question about how Millennium works, she is often my first resource. Most of our interactions are via email because we work in separate locations. I never feel like I’m imposing on her by asking a question or thinking “out loud” in an email. She is also a responsive and excellent instructor, patiently explaining the finer points of Millennium data retrieval or any other topic I may approach her with. I don’t believe I’ve stumped her yet (maybe that’s because I ask dumb questions…)! In fact, I learn something every time I correspond and interact with her.

Appreciation Notes
Alydia Sims & Melanie Cline
I would like to express my appreciation for my Standards Management and Assessment team members in TSCM, Alydia Sims and Melanie Cline. Together we ride the wilds of the Clemson catalog and work to tame it, with the help of Backstage Library Works (our authority control vendor). They have both worked very hard to complete the reports from our initial project and to get us caught up with present reports. In addition to that, Alydia has made some great contributions to our documentation in the StaffWeb, and Melanie takes excellent care of the unit supplies and the unit mail. Both of them are patient, steadfast, and adaptable. Their skills and abilities make my job a lot easier and a lot better. They are also both kind, enthusiastic, and engaged in their work. I could not ask for better people to work with!
