Note: devices will not be issued to students

until full amount is paid.

Baimbridge College Device image

“Image” refers to programs installed on the device

Devices will be imaged with Windows 8.1 and the EduSTAR image.

Students will not be administrators on the devices

Devices will be reset to factory settings if / when students leave the school

Suppliers – Repairs and warranty

Recommended suppliers will give 3 years

warranty.

For all repair and warranty issues devices will

need to be returned to the supplier.

Non warranty repairs carried out by non-ACER

repairers will void the remaining warranty on the

device.

Device Delivery to school

Devices purchased from the two recommended

suppliers will be delivered by the suppliers to

the school for imaging.

Devices purchased from other suppliers will

need to be taken to the school for imaging.

Parents are welcome to phone the school and speak to Mrs Dempsey for more information or they may visit the Library over the next few weeks if they would like to see the devices for 2015 or if they have any questions about devices for 2015.

Order date deadlines

For devices to be ready for the 2015

school year they will need to be

ordered promptly.

LWT suggest by mid January 2015 as

latest but no absolute order cut off.

Southern Grampians No Interest Loan Scheme

The Southern Grampians No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS)

is a specific program to enable eligible low income

people living in the Southern Grampians Shire to access

loan finance for approved education costs.
