Few sports generate the thrills, glamour, and prestige of Formula 1™ racing. While avid fans of this global sport love to discuss which are the best and most entertaining stops on this worldwide tour, there is no debate about what makes Montréal so irresistible. It’s a cosmopolitan cocktail of French joie de vivre and sophistication with a twist of arts, music, and shopping. The city is a fantastic blend of old-world charm and modern culture. Streets are lined with chic boutiques, Parisian-inspired sidewalk cafés, and sleek hotels.

From the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal to the glittering lights of the city coming to life after dark, Montreal seems to have it all. It’s as if the city was designed for a perfect F1 stop; come see why it is always one of the most popular cities on the F1 circuit.

DAy oNeTHURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2015Upon arrival at Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport you will be greeted outside baggage claim and taken by private sedan to the luxurious and exclusive Ritz Carlton Montreal, your home for the next four days. The hotel is conveniently located in Golden Square Mile and in close proximity to Montreal’s high-end boutiques, galleries, museums, and this city’s wonderful food and club scene.

Tonight we recommend dinner just down the street at Cavalli; it’s where the pretty people go to sip cocktails by the restaurant’s big front window, before seating for dinner. Marvel at the modern interior with its green and pink velvet chairs and blonde-wood paneling before you marvel at the food. Chef Frank Gioffre serves up Italian food with Asian influences, a spectacular combination. Some of our favorites are the Chilean sea bass and his mac ‘n’ cheese with truffles and brioche breadcrumbs. Cavalli is definitely a feast for both eyes and palate and a fun place to see and be seen. After dinner you can check out the scene on Crescent Street, which is party central during Grand Prix weekend.

DAy twoFRIDAY, JUNE 5, 2015A great way to start the morning is to stroll over to Vieux (Old) Montreal and enjoy a sumptuous cafe au lait and a decadent pastry. After breakfast (or more likely brunch) you can join the Montrealers who shop with a vengeance. This fashion-aware city is great, whether you traverse the busy Ste-Catherine Street checking out bargains, or strolling up St-Laurent browsing in boutiques that stock wares from international and local designers, you will find this city has lots to offer those with a bent to fashion. If incredible architecture is your thing, a visit to the Basilique Notre-Dame-de-Montreal is a must.

Tonight for dinner we recommend one of Montreal’s most acclaimed French Bistros, Joe Beef. Once voted Canada’s top restaurant, this restaurant is both fun and world class. The highlight, of course, is the food, but the service and wine list are likely to surpass anyone’s expectations.

DAy thReeSATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2015After breakfast you will be transferred by private sedan to the Île Notre-Dame in the middle of the St Lawrence River, home to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. This thirteen-turn 4.36km circuit is one of the most challenging on the F1 circuit. One of the track’s famous barriers is dubbed the “wall of champions” for having claimed this likes of Damon Hill, Michael Schumacher, Jacques Villeneuve and more recently Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel. You will experience the most exclusive of racing experiences in your chosen hospitality venue for this race. Enjoy the finest food and wine, driver appearances, and premium viewing at one of the Canadian Grand Prix’s highest end viewing options.

Your private sedan will take you back to the Ritz Carlton to relax and freshen up prior to heading back the vibrant nightlife of Montreal. Tonight we recommend Brasserie T. The second restaurant of Montréal’s own celebrity chef, Normand Laprise, Brasserie T offers a somewhat relaxed and intimate venue without compromising on taste. Be sure to try their famous burger; you can thank us later.

DAy fouRSUNDAY, JUNE 7, 2015Enjoy your breakfast before again making your way by private sedan to the circuit for today’s thrilling F1 race. Grab a glass of champagne and see what the featured Formula One pilot has to say about today’s race. You will also enjoy a pit tour, something reserved for only a select few, but available to you as a guest of your chosen exclusive hospitality venue. After a sumptuous lunch you have come to the moment that all this has been building towards, the Canadian Grand Prix is about to begin. Travelling in excess of 340 kilometers an hour, these incredible cars and drivers will be pushing the limits to try and be the first to negotiate the 70 laps that comprise the Grand Prix du Canada. Will Daniel Ricciardo defend his 2014 crown for Red Bull, or will Ferrari add to its lead of having won this race a record 13 times? Be on hand in this great cosmopolitan city for one of the most popular stops of the Formula 1 season.

DAy fIveMONDAY, JUNE 8, 2015Enjoy one last French pastry and breakfast before your private car takes you to the airport for your journey home.

ticketsYOUR TICkETS AT CIRCuIt GILLeS vILLeNeuveCircuit Gilles Villeneuve, home to the Canadian Grand Prix, is one of the loudest and also one of the quietest places in Montreal (depending on whether or not it’s a race day). This spectator-friendly circuit, which has a seating capacity of 100,000, is located on Île Notre-Dame, a man-made island in the St. Lawrence River. The track is challenging due to the barriers that run close to the circuit, particularly the one at the exit of the final chicane. known as the “Quebec Wall,” this infamous barrier has ended the race of a
