CISCO had a strong platform and a solid company, but they were lacking one thing: rankings. With poor rankings on major search engines, CISCO was missing out on a lot of coverage and losing leads to competitors.

CISCO is a Fortune 500 company and the largest networking company in the world. They came to us with one simple request: they wanted us to create a soft launch and internet presence for their wireless products division. In other words, they needed a strong search and social presence for new products being released, which meant branding and reach were the primary objectives.

OUR PROCESS

Our goal was to take CISCO to not just #1 on all of the major search engines, but to completely dominate search results with their brand. We took some startup content that they’d already developed and began our ‘flood the internet’ process.

We took 3 sales brochures (content assets) from the clientSometimes they are a few past articles, a white paper or ebook, a couple of PowerPoints from their past conferences, a few audio interviews, a video how-to, or just a link to their social media posts.

Our team then repurposed these into 113+ high-quality content pieces (all matching branding guidelines) Including audios, videos, infographics, image quotes, slides, etc.

Built 50 tier-1 distribution accountsWe determine the correct strategic and quality places online to distribute the content assets where they will be found and will support the search engine goals as well.

Created 2,525+ new tra�c generating live linksCISCO got in front of more and more of the searches performed online (not just on Google).

With our process, we managed to bring CISCO to the front page of search engines across the web, ‘flooding the internet’ with their brand and making sure that their competitors were completely pushed out of the picture.

Google. CISCO completely dominated the first page of Google, with all search results for a generic keyword search term (wireless product positioning) returning entirely CISCO-related results. Google Videos and Images search tabs also produced CISCO results.

Pinterest. We flooded Pinterest with CISCO content and ranked for all relevant search terms.

Youtube. We brought CISCO up on YouTube rankings as the first results for their targeted keywords.

Slideshare. CISCO slideshows took the first page of Slideshare.

We were able to produce all of these results - worth thousands in revenue and even more in product exposure - with a package that cost CISCO only $4,000/mo for this highly profitable wireless product launch.
