GYMNASTICS

Dawn McDaniel, Director of Gymnastics Education, enjoys many different responsibilities at OPA. In ad-dition to her role as the Director of Gymnastics Education, Dawn is a member of the new OPACasting team and she holds the position of Sound Designer for many of OPA’s stage productions. Dawn feels blessed to have the opportunity to work with so many different types of people - from toddlers to adults, but she finds the most joy when she is surrounded by her students - the gymnasts of OPA!

It’s never too early to get your child involved in the sport of gymnastics. Gym Tots and Gym Stars cater to little gymnasts and for older students, we offer a grade-school curriculum based on the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic program. All of our students gain an understanding of gymnastics basics that reflect each child’s budding coordination, strength, and flexibility - not to mention self-confidence! OPA’s gymnastics programs also include tumbling classes, a home school program, a show team, and open gym sessions.
