Governor Jeb Bush To Speak at Annual Meeting The Ohio Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will be the keynote speaker for our 2015 Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at the Capitol Theatre in the Riffe Center, 77 S. High Street in downtown Columbus.

“We are extremely excited to have Governor Bush as our keynote speaker,” said Ohio Chamber President & CEO Andrew E. Doehrel. “Governor Bush champions many of the same issues as the Ohio Chamber, including pro-growth polices that lead to a robust economy and prosperity for individuals and businesses. His business and leadership experiences, as well as his accomplishments reforming government, will make for an excellent presentation.”

During his two terms as Florida Governor, Bush championed major reform of education. Under his leadership, Florida raised academic standards, required accountability in schools and created the most ambitious school choice program in the nation. Prior to serving as governor, Mr. Bush served as Florida’s Secretary of Commerce. His business experience includes leading a successful real estate development company.

In addition to his father, President George H.W. Bush, former Annual Meeting speakers have included New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani, Secretary of State Colin Powell, Carly Fiorina, Tom Brokaw and Bob Woodward. The Ohio Chamber prides itself in hosting influential and thought-provoking speakers. The presenting sponsor of this year’s Annual Meeting is Ohio Chamber member Squire Patton Boggs.
