Four Crucial Questions New Employees Ask Themselves After Their First Day On The Job Youinvestedalotoftimeandmoneybringingonyour new employee and you want to get them up and running as quickly as possible.

As your new employee’s first day draws to an end, you begin to reflect on how things went. But it’s important to realize that they, too, are reflecting.

There are four common questions in their mind that will determine whether they will be with you for the long haul or just a quick stopover. Come learn what those questions are and how you can set yourself, and your organization, up to answer them in a way that allows you to keep your top new hires!

01/14 T 11:30 am- 1:00 pm $15

Helping Employees Shift from Staff to SupervisorIt happens all across America – when a supervisor leaves, organizations take productive team members and transition them into the leadership role.

It’s incredibly difficult for the team member to efficiently make the shift to supervisor without coming across as a know-it-all or deer in the headlights. And it’s equally challenging for the team to adjust to the new leadership style.

We will help you equip your new supervisors with the skill set they need to assume that all-important first supervisory role with greater confidence and success.

02/11 T 11:30 am - 1:00 pm $15

Improving Your Safety Culture Improving the safety culture in your organization is a long-term and sometimes challenging process.

Prevention is the smartest business strategy. We will discuss the top health and safety issues facing businesses today. We will showcase several local organizations and how they have gradually applied strategic and methodical practices to improve their culture. Learn how you can apply their processes to create the same success within your company.

03/11 T 11:30 am - 1:00 pm $15

Make Leadership Simple by Clarifying Your RoleAs your organization grows and evolves, complexity takes root. Ultimately, if it’s not kept in check, complexity destroys clarity.

We will explore and process three simple questions that will help you clarify your role within your organization. Then, next time you’re overwhelmed by the complexity of your job, you can turn back to your responses and refocus on what’s most important.

04/08 T 11:30 am - 1:00 pm $15

enrollMent ForM

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm enrollment for each class. This deposit guarantees your enrollment in the class of your choice and is applied to your tuition. A $50 deposit is required for classes $399 and under. A $100 deposit is required for classes $400 and over. The deposit can be paid with a check or money order (payable to Meridian Technology Center) with a VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card. Deposit is refundable only if class is cancelled by Meridian Technology Center.

The balance of tuition is due by the first class meeting and is non-refundable. Supplies are not included in the tuition price, unless otherwise noted. If needed, they may be purchased from the Meridian Mart located on campus during regular business hours. We ask that you take responsibility for your projects that are left on our campus or at an extension site. Unforeseen circumstances may cause us to change the date or time of a class.
