The Westminster College baseball team finished the

2013 season 15-23 overall and 7-15 in the PAC. Head Coach Tim Mulligan enters his second season as head coach of the Titans.

On the mound, the Titans will return senior pitcher Scott Hanicak who had 10 appearances and nine starts last season. Hanicak led the team in strikeouts with 31. Sophomore Kyle Borton also looks to make his presence felt on the mound in 2014.

The offense will be led by senior First Baseman Nick Reinthaler, who was named Second-Team All-PAC in 2013 as he led the team with a career-high 27 RBIs. His 10 doubles and two home runs ranked second-best on the team. On the defensive end, Reinthaler was first on the team and in the PAC with 273 putouts.

Also looking to make an impact on offense are junior OF John Jones, sophomore INF Ryan Dunn, junior INF Jared Heck, and junior C Jake

Haubrich. Newcomers who will make an immediate impact are P Richie Fitch (Columbiana, OH / Columbiana), P Nate McMaster (Stow, OH / Stow-Munroe Falls), P Danny Owoc (Penn. Township, PA / Penn-Trafford), C Kellen Gursky (Greenville, PA / Reynolds), INF Sean Coyne (New Castle, PA / New Castle), OF/P Zach Merrell (Hubbard, OH), and 2B Ty Ferlin (Latrobe, PA / Ligonier).
