2014 Virginia Healthcare Workforce Map Series
Established in May 2007 in affiliation with the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine as a not-for-profit national healthcare workforce research center
Founding Project – Scope of Practice Partnership Established unique methodology to create national
healthcare workforce datasets from state licensure on 15 healthcare providers: physicians (MD, DO), dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse anesthesiologists, nurse midwives, psychologists, podiatrists, optometrists, speech language pathologists, audiologists, pharmacists and dental hygienists
Two major projects with Health Resources Services Administration to provide national data for the Area Resource File and the Shortage Designation Program
2010 Established our own national advisory board made up on 15 nationally recognized healthcare workforce leaders
