The TwinsBros Surfboards builds kiteboards for over 15 years. The technical level and needs of the riders are changed a lot over the years as well as the shapes of the wings requiring an evolution of the shapes of the boards and an optimization of the materials to offer the TOP of performances.Over the past 8 years the TwinsBros production has been dedicated exclusively to the wave kiteboards abandoning twintip to stay only in the world of waves.

SHAPES
The shape of the kiteboards are not the same as surfboards but optimizedto surf with the wing that, even if left discharged over the head, does not allowthe kitesurfer to assume the same position as the surfer.Usually the center of gravity of a kitesurfer, who must hold the boom, is shifted towards the tail and the edge of the board. When maneuvering, kitesurfer find a useful handhold in the wing.
The bottom shapes is designed specifically for the kiteboards to have a board comfortable and responsive. The exit rocker is optimized to be able to go upwindand to manouver in the right way on the waves. Use a surfboards shape, as many other company do, it would not be a goodchoice as the board would not be very maneuverable (hard on the legs) andtiring while cruising.
The lengths of the boards do not vary according to the size of the rider as in thesurfing. The wing allows the rider to glide easily regardless of his weight and size (like in tow-in surfing where surfers used very short boards to surf giant waves which wuould required longer boards to paddle in). This allows you to use short boards and to have a lot of fun.
MATERIALSMATERIALS
CONSTRUCTION
TEST carried out in the water by our rider, including the German Jonas Steffen, led us to only use a PU blanks + polyester resin + fiberglass or fiberglass / carbon construction. We use standard or high-density blanks (these last are designed specifically for tow-in and kite surfing, much harder than the normal ones used for surfboards but with the same features of flex). This choice to offer the top in lightness, strength and reactivity. We do not use EPS-epoxy construction (offered by many brands that produce in China, Thailand, Vietnam) because the final boards wuould be more rigid giving a worse feeling surfing the waves. Kitesurf conditions are never glassy and windless but mainly windy and choppy. Our boards are sold with removable fins FCS or FUTURE systems.Regarding the FCS system, we use Scarfini plugs and fins 100 % compatible but much more resistant. This allow us to use it in the kiteboards without having breaking problems. The FUTURE system offers a better insertion of the fins in the board and this iswhy it is spreading well.
The final aspect of the boards can be transparent, painted-transparent, painted(custom effect, matt, polished) with any kind of artworks. CUSTOM first of all!

The PRO version can be chosen only with kite light pro or carbon pro flex construction. It works transparently to not add weight with the external coatings . Fins included HX or FX series to have the top of the performances.
MODELSMODELS
MODELS
The HOG model gives good feeling in all conditions and does everything giving a lot of fun. The QUAD setup, the extra surface area and volume assure easy handling, smooth carving and enable to dominate lighter wind and smaller surf. Very good for free-styler and free-rider.
Best selled siBest selled size: 5'6''.
Tail: swallowBottom: single to double concaveRecommended fins: Scarfini QUADHX1, QUADHX2
Target: wind 15-25 Knots - waves up to 2m

MODELS
The CHOPPY model gives stability and maneouvrability in high wind condition with choppy wave typical of on-shore wind and rough seas.
Best selled size: 5'10''. Choose 6'0'' for extreme conditions and big waves.

MODELS
This model has been developed to have a strapless board to use in windy conditions up to 15/20 knots and medium / medium-small wave conditions. The shape comes from the choppy model with a greater width and a smaller thickness.Choosing the construction KITE LIGHT PRO you canhhave a light board, very durable and very reactive while surfing. To save weight the board can be ordered without footstrap inserts.
Best selled size: 5'8''
Tail: round-squashBottom: V + Double concaveRRecommended fins: Scarfini HX1, HX2, HX3
Target: wind 15-20 Knots - waves < 2m

MODELS
High volume, wide outline, quad setup, straight rocker-line, bottom shape to minimize the hydrodynamic drag are the main ingredients of this model which our teamriders defined a perfect weapon for light wind... The Carbon/FlexFoam construction assure a light, rreactive and confortable board. This model can't miss in a kiteboarder quiver.
One size fit all 5’0’’ x 20’’3/4 x 2’’1/2.

MODELS
The PRO version of the Skillet model has a tipoptimized for transition ollie 180 ° and a tailround-diamond to improve hydrodynamics andthe ability to glide of the board. The transparent carbon flex construction allows to have a very light board. TThe board is equipped with carbon fiberglass fins to get the top performances.
