This report shows how certain payments industry companies and terms are trending on Google web searches.
Here are the detailsSome charts reflect specific search terms which will be shown in quotes, while others are filtered by company which provides search interest by the topic of the company and not a specific search term.
All graphs are confined to searches done in the United States within the web search option (i.e. not Google News or Images) between April 21st and April 28th 2014. The numbers on the graph reflect how many searches have been done for a particular term, relative to the total number of searches done on Google over time. Graphs do not represent absolute search volume numbers, because the data is normalized and presented on a scale from 0-100. Each point on the graph is divided by the highest point, or 100. When there is not enough data, 0 is shown.
Numbers represent search interest relative to the highest point on the chart. If at most 10% of searches for the given region and timeframe were for "pizza," it would be considered 100. This doesn't convey absolute search volume. If a search reaches a higher point than the previous 100 point, the new high will replace the 100 point.
When comparing two or more items, bars appear next to the chart. The bar height represents the average of all points on the graph for that search term.
A downward trending line means that a search term's popularity is decreasing. It doesn't mean that the absolute, or total, number of searches for that term is decreasing.
