Q: Will all students (NA) be eligible to take 'A' levels?

The NA student should need to work towards progressing to Sec 5 first where EMB3 aggregate has to be 19 or less

Eligibility for ‘A’ levels is dependent on GCE ‘O’ level Results.

“O” Level exam candidates must attain:• L1R5 of 20 points or less for 2-Year “A” level programme [or]

• L1R4 of 20 points or less for 3-Year “A” level Programme@ MI

Q: How are the subject combinations determined?

The student (and parents) must exercise his options wisely and understand that with limited vacancies in certain options, it is possible that he may not get his top choices.

• Sec 2 Academic Performance vis-à-vis the eligibility criteria;

• Once the student meets the eligibility criteria, the allocation will be based on their preference.

Q: Is 'POA' offered to NA students also?

Yes, POA is a subject offered to students in the Normal Stream

Q: I would like to address to the school to change the school starting time from 7.15 am to 7.30 am. Morning traffic is the issue.

We encourage students to report to school no later than 7.20am.The traffic is more congested at the later hour. Starting at a later time means the school will end later as the contact time for each subject is fixed and could not be reduced at this point.

There are very few students late for school (<1%)

Q: Duration and Subjects for MY and EOY exams

The period for Mid-Year and End of Year examination are outlined in student handbook.

In Term 1 and Term 3 Letter for parents, we will include the period of MY or EOY exam dates in the Semester schedule for parents’ easy reference.

The detailed information about the specific timing for each papers will be consolidated and made available via letter to parents nearer the date of assessment.
