Jaewoo and Joy are part of A.C.T International who equip and train young artists to engage and participate in

God's mission with their artistic gifts

Update on Kim Family

In 2014, while Jaewoo has been travelling to various parts of the world, Joy has been working on her thesis on arts in mission (M.A. in World Arts) and given an opportunity to be involved in local mission as a school music teacher, reaching out to the

community and young students. Joy has taught world music to her students, which contributed to shape students' worldview and to give them eye-opening musical experiences. Abby (7)

and Elliott (4) are happy in home, school and church, and enjoy their time with parents and people they meet through what their parents do. Please pray for our family to be healthy, creative,

God-honoring, and fruitful in 2015.

Equipping & Mentoring

We have been teaching and training artists and helping local churches in many different cities such as Dallas, New Jersey, Atlanta, Austin, Iowa, New Zealand, and Seoul etc. through

worship seminars and arts in mission seminars. Through these ministry opportunities, we've been connected to young artists in

various places whom we personally mentor and share lives with. Please pray that God would send us to where there is a

need for arts-in-mission training and help us to continue to reach out to communities in need.

Leading Multicultural Worship

In July, Jaewoo was invited to lead a global worship in Mission Korea 2014 conference and in October, to lead worship for a live recording event hosted by Anointing ministry in Seoul. It was very rewarding to experience worship that incorporated

worship songs from diverse cultures and languages and it was overwhelmingly amazing to taste a glimpse of worship in

heaven that was revealed in Revelation. Please pray that this album would be a catalyst for Korean diaspora churches all over the world to participate in God's mission. The Anointing

worship album will be out in the beginning of 2015.

Publishing & Writing

Jaewoo translated the book "Art of Mentoring" into Korean and has been writing articles on worship and arts in order to bring

awareness of need and importance of arts in mission to Korean churches. He is planning to write more articles and books to be

published through various channels in 2015.

김재우, 조이 선교사는 A.C.T. International 소속 선교사로 예술적 은사를 가진 젊은이들을 

예배사역과 예술선교에 동원하고 훈련합니다 

가족 소식

2014년 한 해 동안 김재우선교사는 여러곳을 여행하며 

사역했고 김조이 선교사는 예술선교(World Arts) 석사

과정을 공부하며 딸 예선이의 학교에서 음악선생님으로 

교과 과정에 월드뮤직을 도입하는등 커뮤니티에 많은 

기여를 했습니다. 예선(7살), 지환(4살)은 즐겁고 행복

하게 자라고 있습니다. 계속해서 건강하고, 창의적이며 

열매맺는 가정이 되도록 기도해 주십시오. 

훈련사역

2014년 한 해 동안 달라스, 뉴저지, 아틀란타, 어스틴,  

아이오와, 뉴질랜드, 서울등 여러 도시에서 예배 강의와 

아트인미션 세미나를 통해 한어권과 영어권 교회의 예

배회복을 돕고 젊은 예술가들을 훈련했습니다. 감사하

게도 아트인미션에서 훈련하고 멘토링하며 돕고 있는 

이들이 늘어나고 있습니다. 2015년에도 필요한 곳마다 

훈련사역을 시작하고 지속해 가도록 기도해 주십시오.

다민족예배 집회, 음반, 영상

여름에 한국에서 열린 선교한국2014대회와 가을에 있

었던 어노인팅11집 녹음집회에서 예배를 인도했습니

다. 여러 민족들의 찬양을 부르며 모든 민족과 방언이 함

께 예배할 날을 꿈꾸는 예배를 한국땅에서 경험한 것은 

참으로 감격적이었습니다. 이것이 한국과 전세계 디아

스포라 교회들에 선교적 예배운동을 일으키는 작은 불

씨가 되도록 기도해 주십시오. 어노인팅11집 음반과 영

상은 2015년 초에 발매 예정입니다. 

문서사역

아티스트 멘토링에 대한 책을 번역했고 매거진과 여러 

곳에 예배와 예술선교에 대한 글을 게재하고 있습니다. 

2015년에도 여러 매체를 통해 글을 나눌 계획입니다. 

*저희 사역은 미니스트리 파트너들의 기도와 재정후원이 있기에 가능합니다. 2015년에는 저희 사역을 매월 

정기적으로 후원할 파트너들이 늘어나길 기도합니다.
