VBS 93 NEG - Patient Transport Chamber
Ebola challenge pushing product development forward When the world today needs urgent actions, globalization has brought people and
companies together in a way that makes response easier, faster and better.
The ongoing Ebola crisis in Western Africa has challenged the world community in
a big way. Four European companies have found themselves challenged by the
urgent need for transport solutions adequate for highly infectious patients.
Norwegian based LESS AS developed together with German CBRN Specialist,
ProtecTech a prototype based on an existing Austrian manufacturer Blaschke’s
military version a negative pressure transport chamber. Numerous improvements
for patient monitoring and safety were implemented. Finally, German Schroth
Safety Products joined the team, integrating state-of-the-art patient safety belts.
Racing technology into saving Ebola patients On the last page you can read more about how racing technology from Schroth
Safety Products came into the VBS 93 NEG.

to discuss a functional Ebola-solution.
VBS 93 NEG The world’s most versatile transport chamber for contagious patients. Built in
strong rubber coated fabric, this transport chamber is very durable and can be
completely disinfected after use.

changed while being in operation.
Ebola-specific and transport safe Working together with experienced doctors with NBC speciality, the VBS 93 NEG
has been improved and specified for safe transport of Ebola contagious patients.
The VBS 93 NEG has further been upgraded to comply with EU regulation for
ambulance transport, having an internal 4 point safety belt securing the patient.
