4. If a competitor wishes to spot the weight transfer sled, he/she must do so before the sled returns to the starting line.

5. All pull attempts must start from a tight hitch. Intentional jerking of the chain/sled at anytime during the pull attempt will be grounds for disqualification.

6. The pull attempt shall be considered over when the forward motion of the sled stops.

7. Tractors must be stopped safely upon signal from the track flagman.

8. A full pull is declared only when the front leading edge of the weight transfer sled crosses the full pull line.

9. Only one official pull is allowed per tractor, per class, unless a tie is declared for any position.

10. The first competitor in each class will be the test puller, and he/she will have the option of accepting their first attempt or returning for a second hook. If the weight transfer sled is adjusted at any time during the class in session, the class will start over beginning with the original test puller.

11. Tractors must remain within the boundary lines of the track, or they will be disqualified. The weight transfer sled may go out of bounds without the competitor being disqualified.

12. A tractor is out of bounds when it touches the marked boundary line.

13. There are no boundary lines beyond the full pull line.

14. There will be no false starts in the event of a pull off.

15. Power shifting allowed. Pull chain on sled must remain tight when power shifting occurs.

16. The false start line for Stock Off The Lawn, all Stock classes, Open Stock, Sportstock and all N.Q.S. classes is 50’. The false start line for Sportsman, Hydro, Modified, Super Modified and V-8 Modified is 100’.

17. All competitors will immediately be given a second attempt if they go out of bounds or attempt to stop BEFORE CROSSING THE FALSE START LINE.

18. Only the test puller will be allowed a second attempt if they go out of bounds after crossing the false start line.

19. Excessive loss of fluid on the track before or during a pull attempt will result in disqualification. Excessive loss of fluid will be determined by track official.

20. A competitor WILL NOT BE DISQUALIFIED if they go out of bounds, lose any ballast, shields, or safety equipment after the track official waves the red flag.

21. Exhibition tractors will be allowed to enter two classes at any given event. Rules for classes

must closely match specifications for the exhibition tractor being entered. Exhibition tractors will pull in the last position, and no prize money or points will be awarded. All general and safety rules apply.

22. There will be no entry fee refunds after the event starts. Exceptions to this rule are mechanical breakage before a competitor is scheduled to pull, a family emergency, or the event is terminated for any reason. It is the competitor’s responsibility to collect any refunds owed to them before they leave the event site.

23. Prize money will be awarded at the end of the event. It is the competitor’s responsibility to collect any awards they may have earned before they leave the event site.

24. Any prize money not collected at the end of an event will be considered a donation to CNYGTPA, Inc.

25. All tractors must weigh out immediately after an official pull, with the exception of ties/full pulls, which may require another hook. After the final pull, weigh-out is mandatory. Failure to do so will result in a disqualification.

26. Class jumping is allowed but will be limited as follows. A tractor can only move UP TO THE NEXT level of competition that the tractor is officially assigned to. The maximum number of classes a tractor can enter at any one event is four. Official(s) reserve the right to not allow class jumping at any event for reasons deemed necessary.

27. No consumption of alcoholic beverages in the track area or pit area either before or during the pull event. If the officials believe any driver to be a potential safety hazard because of such consumption or for any other valid reason, said driver may be barred from the pull.

28. Verbal and/or physical abuse of any Track Official will not be tolerated. Said offender forfeits any and all entry fees, winnings and points for that pull, if applicable, and will be asked to leave immediately. Further violation will result in removal and/or ban from the club and all future events.

29. If a competitor is tech. for r.p.m. legality AFTER an official pull attempt, said competitor will be allowed at that time only without disqualification a 4% tolerance over the maximum legal r.p.m. limit for the class being entered.

However, PRIOR to any competitor making an official pull attempt , the maximum legal r.p.m. limit for the class being entered will be strictly enforced WITHOUT the 4% tolerance being allowed. This rule only applies to classes that require a governed r.p.m. limit.
