Physicians: Lima Area Medical Education Development (LAMED) is
accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) to provide
continuing medical education to physicians. LAMED designates this live
activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians
should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation
in the activity.
Nursing: St. Rita’s Medical Center (OH-071/2-1-15) is an approved provider
of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-
91) an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s

Program Purpose & Goal
To provide cardiovascular educational knowledge and skills for all
clinicians who care for patients with conditions of the heart. The
symposium design offers a curriculum for all healthcare professionals
with a specific focus on care provided throughout the spectrum. The
curriculum will also foster discussion amongst physicians, physician
assistants, advanced practice nurses, and health care professionals.
