¨  “I have learned…I need to address the needs of my class…I will start with silent reading for a purpose, and hopefully get my students more interested in reading early on in the year… I learned the power of collaboration and inquiry. CR4AR: Teacher Reflections

¨  In CR4AR, the attempts at saving came through reading. The abyss was large, deep and dark when I first started this learning process… But, the difference is this: where I saw a hole before with the terror of imagining how I would ever fill it, now I see a crevice over which I am better prepared to build a bridge, strategy by strategy, attitude shifts included, to bring me to the other side. It's about building bridges, not filling holes.

Another Child’s Perspective

¨  I feel good with reading because I can read easier and the books are starting to get easier for me. My brain is growing. Brains grow. You can learn more. My brain is starting to get interested in work and reading.

¨  I like reading more. My light bulb died in the summer and now I have a new light bulb in.
