For greater marketability and profits, plant vigorous F| Hybrid Petunia
varieties in NEW plantable GRO POTS . Grown and marketed in colorful
plastic trays, these popular flowers build customer satisfaction and
greater sales.
Fj Hybrid Petunias have almost completely replaced the older open pollinated
varieties in spite of the great difference in original seed cost. Reduced to
the dozen plants level seed costs only 2c to 8c per dozen. So you don't have
to add much to the selling price to double your investment in seed.
In addition, the advantages of better germination, vigor and uniformity
add up to more and better plants in less time.
Equally important is the fact that customers like them - demand them.

new element been added to petunias. Although well adapted for any use, bedding, pots, combinations,
the great selling appeal of these extra large, extra vigorous Cascade varieties is their special adaptation
for planters, porch boxes and window boxes so popular now in well designed homes.

MAKING FERTILIZER CONCENTRATESFOR REGULAR FEEDING OF PLANTS IN CONTAINERS
The plant feeding concentrates given below are suggested for general use through "Measuremix" injector and"Syphonex" proportioner to maintain bright vigorous appearance of container grown plants during their stay
in the retail yard.
During a heavy rain plant foods may be leached out of light soil mixes. If plants appear dull or cease grow-ing after rainy periods extra feeding may be necessary. i.e.: If feeding daily — double the concentration for
one application — if feeding intermittantly schedule one additional application between regular feedings.
Growers of nursery or greenhouse plants should obtain specific feeding programs to meet individual needs of
soil mix and cultural practices.

VENTILATIONVISQUEEN film handles ventilation too!
Good ventilation may be had by lowering the
VISQUEEN film 4-8 inches from the eve plate on
the sides and not nailing the lath at these points.
Both the inside and outside layers can be pinned
together by short lath and raised and lowered
together.
VISQUEEN film goes right into the ground. There
are no side walls needed. Supporting side posts
and sash bars can be treated with preservative.
HEATING
Any type of greenhouse heat can be used and
VISQUEEN film enables you to save on fuel costs!
Heat otherwise lost through cracked panes, air
gaps, etc., is now contained for a longer period —and VISQUEEN film lets you maintain the best
temperatures at all times!

film greenhouses from your dealers.
