1. Effective pedagogy to ensure quality teaching and learning:
a) Promote value added and innovative teaching, learning and assessment methods.
1. Faculty member has been given autonomy to introduce any innovative pedagogy for
effective teaching and proper dissemination of knowledge amongst the students based on
the complexity of the subject and further to improve the academic result.
2. For effective evaluation & assessment of the student, method of DCF has been followed.
b)) Promote Expert Lectures by Industry Persons for quick exposure to Industrial Practices
and application of Engineering Subject.
c) Promote guidance by eminent Academician cum-subject expert for easy understanding
of complex subject.
d) Ensure students’ academic improvement and professional growth via GFM.
e) Conduction of value added Seminar, Workshop and Training Programs via Student’s
Chapter.
2. Brand building of the Institute:
a) Enhance erudite activities like Project Exhibition, Technical Events,
Conferences, etc.
b) Ensure quality assurance through regular audit by quality assurance cell.
1. IQAC is in place and conducts regular audit to ensure the quality practices
being followed in all spheres like academic, R&D, Training, Placement, Projects, etc.
c) Motivate staff and students for social responsibilities through outreach activities.
d) Enhance the role of stake holders and ensure active participation while framing the quality policy of the organization.
e) Close vigil over the effective implementation of the strategic plan via structured feedback system.
f) Evolve mechanisms to attract quality and quantity of the incoming students.
g) Create alumni network to seek support for placement, internship, invited talks and Training Programs.
h) Ensure the role of Alumni as Entrepreneur to motivate the students for start-up.
3. Strengthen research & development activities a) Increase the no. of Industry Sponsored Projects and prepare the Proposal for
Research Project for external funding.
b) Improve the publication count of faculty members in the reputed
conferences/Journals.
c) Promote Interdisciplinary Research. Status of approved Research Centre with
affiliating University.
4. Establish strong relation with Industry/Reputed organizations for
consultancy, Internships, Training, Sponsored Projects and
Placement
a) Sign MoU with the relevant Industries for consultancy, Internships, Training,
Sponsored/Joint Projects and Placement.
1. The Institute has successfully signed MOUs with more than 20 different
industries for consultancy, industrial training and sponsored projects. Some of
them are:
BOSCH SP Metallurgy
Platinum Chevrolet, Pune HR Industries
UT Engineering, SYNTEL IT
b) Keep the relation live by inviting them as resource person for expert talk or
Guest/Judge in the Event of the Institute.
5. Promote Entrepreneur activities intheCampus
a) Formation of Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
1. EDC cell is in place. Mrs. Sujata Badve, Badve group of industries had been invited to create the
awareness of Entrepreneurship.
b) Conduct relevant talk, workshops, events, competitions focusing on innovation
and entrepreneurship.
6. Improve placement scenario of the campus and/or motivate
students for higher studies.
a) Pre-placement/Finishing School for all aspiring students.
1. Pre-placement training to improve soft skill, group discussion techniques,
interview skills & aptitude development is conducted every year by BARCLAY &
MAHINDRA.
b) Invited talk by Industry Expert to create awareness amongst the students about
practices and theskill sets required.
1. Invitation to eminent industry expert is the regular practice being followed by
all the engineering departments to make the students aware about industrial
practices & requirement of the industry from undergraduate. Some of the
invited guests for the functions were:
1. Mr. Manav Prasad, Head HR, Tavisca Solutions, Pune
2. Mr. Varun Singh, Principal Q.A. Engineer
3. Mr Akash Tiwari, IP Network Operation Manager, TATA Communications
4. Mr. Kshitij Agarkar, Operation Manager, TATA Communications
5. Mr. Vivek Singh, Chief Evengelist, Rein Cloud.
c) Training on pre requisite skills to improve employability.
d) Career Counseling Program to narrate the three direction of career after
Engineering i.e. employee, employer and higher education.
e) Motivate students to opt for Internship in summer and winter vacation
f) Tailor made training program as suggested by prospering employer before
recruitment drive
1. Depending on the skill set of the prospering employers is look into
undergraduates; DYPSOEA is bound to train the students so as to improve the
percentage of placement. ULTRA Engineers set the condition to train the
Mechanical students on CNC. T&P has been asked to arrange training.
g) Improve the no. of eligible students by improving their pass percentage via
necessary measure.
h) Guidance to the students on the preparation of Competitive/Entrance Examinations for Job/higher education.
7. Imbibe societal values and responsibilities amongst undergraduates. a) Arrange field trip and awareness programs in nearby villages.
1. Under the NSS camp students are carried to nearby villages to get the exposure
of rural area & understand the issues of villagers being disconnected from city.
c) Sense of responsibilities amongst the students via motivational speaker.
1. Every year the programs like Nirbhaya KanyaYojna, Women’s Empowerment
& role of youth towards society are organized.
8. Ensure overall growth of the students via extra- curricular,
co- curricular and club activities.
a) Expand extra-curricular, co-curricular activities and club activities by
establishing various Students’ Cells.
DYPSOEA establishes following student cells to ensure overall development of
the students-

3. NSS Committee.
4. Kalagaar Committee.
5. Robotics Club.
6. EDP Cell
7. Annual Magazine & Newsletter Club
b) Full support to the students to conduct any event under the jurisdiction of
their respective cell to ensure holistic development.
1. Full financial support & resources made available to student cells to conduct
the event/activity under jurisdiction of their respective cell.
c) Motivate the students to get the benefit out of Student’s Chapter.

9. Encourage and enable faculty/staff excellence
a) Encourage faculty members to participate in Quality Improvement Program
like Seminars,Workshops, etc.

a) Establish well defined norms, policies and procedures for effective utilization of
System.
1. Well defined policies for academics, admission, training & placement, research
& development, and IQAC in place.
b) Well defined organizational charts to exhibit the hierarchy of authority and
Decentralization of powers.
1. Hierarchy in the institute is been well defined via chart and is been displayed on
prominent boards of departments and college.
c) Streamline the Process of Annual Budgeting and auditing.
1. The annual budget has been prepared in every year at beginning of academic
year in consultation with head, principal, account department and management.
d) Streamline the Process of Purchase.
1. Depending on the need of any equipment or instrument or any either item. The
concern In Charge is ask to get at least 3 to 4 quotations. After comparative
statement, the weightage is given to the vendor who offer low cost, good quality
and post purchase service.
e) Freedom & flexibility to Department for implementation of any new initiatives
1. Each Head is entitled and given full autonomy to initiate any activity at any
moment of time for benefit of student fraternity at large.
f) Academic, Administrative procedures through the structured way of ERP
1. ERP system is in well place and Principal, Heads, Faculty and students are
informed to use its utility.
g) Automation of the various functional units of the Institution
1. ERP ensures that various units/cells/bodies are automated.
