closed since 2008• Established in 1998 to regulate coach
education in Europe
• Minimum criteria at B, A and Pro levels to
ensure that education programmes are of asimilar quality across Europe
• Convention members receive €100,000 per year from UEFA for coach education activities

• A quality mark focusing on specific aspects of grassroots football
• Fundamental requirements: basic structures, grassrootsleader training and various services for players
• Regular support visits by UEFA experts (roughly 25 perseason)
• Charter members receive €100,000 per year for theirgrassroots activities
• UEFA Grassroots Workshop from 8 to 12 April 2013 atthe Ullevaal Stadium and in the adjoining Thon Hotel inOslo

• UEFA Jira Panel decision: no UEFA licence in this area for the time being• Instead: familiarisation of a first group of technical education experts with the latest
