03WELCOME
After 18 years hosting the Global Superyacht Forum, the event continues to grow and evolve every year. This 19th year will be no different when 400 of the industry’s key players join together in Amsterdam for three days of presentations, pertinent discussions and key networking events that will help to change the future of our industry for another year.
A key date for everyone’s calendar, our unique Forum provides everyone with the opportunity to come together after the busy show season and share their views on the subjects that matter most. This year will see three core focus days – a wealth day, brain day and ocean day shedding light on the key topics falling under these headings. With keynote presentations and breakout rooms to facilitate more intimate brainstorm discussions, this year’s Forum promises to pack a wealth of information into these three days in Amsterdam.
Whether this is your first time or you’ve been with us from the start, this year’s Global Superyacht Forum endeavours to bring you a powerful mix of presentations, debates and tangible action points to walk away with. The superyacht market can only continue to gain strength through the collaboration of like-minded experts coming together and creating a plan for the future.
Be a part of something at the Global Superyacht Forum.

11OUR PROGRAMMETHE WEALTH DAY
THE GLOBAL SUPERYACHT MARKET’S WEALTH DAY
With over 5000 superyachts currently afloat over 30m and a total market value per annum of 21.3 billion euros in global spend by the total fleet, it is clear that this industry is a growing and prosperous one. Wealth Day will bring a meeting of minds to Amsterdam to focus on this engaging lifestyle and how to encourage the next wave of owners.
With two keynote sessions opening the Forum this year, leading lights from the wealth industry will discuss where those ultra high net worth in-dividuals (UHNWI) are spending their money and how to entice them into the market. Keynote presentations will be delivered by visionary wealth experts and luxury marketers about what we can do better in the wealth world and how we can see these numbers grow.

13OUR PROGRAMMETHE BRAIN DAY
THE GLOBAL SUPERYACHT MARKET’S BRAIN DAY
Brain Day will open day two of the forum and will serve to dissect and discuss a multitude of papers. From the latest in technology to how we can be more efficient as an industry, day two will take apart the hot topics and try to make sense of it all. Building and producing yachts can be a complicated venture, but is there a better way of doing things?
Different discussion formats will facilitate a selection of topics. From presentations on new and innovative materials, to emerging markets and shipyard focused sessions, there is a wealth of material to cover. Breakout rooms with be utilised in the afternoon to facilitate open discussions amongst participants, allowing delegates to have their voice heard.

15OUR PROGRAMMETHE OCEAN DAY
THE GLOBAL SUPERYACHT MARKET’S OCEAN DAY
Ocean Day will cover those issues that happen out on the open water. While not limited to only matters at sea, this day will facilitate discussions about some key issues that have arisen at other events throughout the year. With keynote presentations and breakout rooms in the afternoon, topics to be discussed range from green efficiency, and environmental concerns, to crew issues and topics pertinent to captains and owners.
As an industry, we carry a great deal of responsibility for the planet’s well being and that of the oceans. With over six hundred superyachts currently in build around the world today, there is a plenty of room for improvement in how we conduct not only new builds, but refits, waste disposal and ultimately recycling of yachts. How can we clean up our act and play our part on a greater scale?
