Dear Potential Sponsors,

Since 1984 we have promoted cycling and professionally represented our sponsors at events across the na-tion. The UA Cycling Club has not only been a place for collegiate cyclists to develop into professional athletes but also as a place to see the energy and commitment of young cyclists in your local community. With your support, our club can thrive and grow our legacy within the cycling community.

Sponsorships help cover the costs of running a large sports club that aims to participate in competition at the regional and national levels. All of our members contribute volunteer hours and pay annual dues but our program and competition involve extensive travel requires contributions and donations to help defray the costs of maintaining the level of exposure and competitiveness we strive for. Each member of our club spends a good deal of their own money in order to buy and maintain bikes, as well as race entry fees, club kits, travel and lodging for races. Many cannot participate at the level they would like to, but with more support from our alumni and sponsors, less !nancial stress will be placed on the members.

Please review this packet and you can see the opportunities that partnership can o"er. Primarily, our cycling kits, website and outreach will bring exposure to our sponsors. We are also looking to expand the events that we as a club organize and o"er to the greater community. Though sponsorship doesn’t just mean exposure, we proudly wear and represent our partners that not only !scally support us but our determination to our club and goals of clean competition and sustainability.

Club members wear our cycling kits that prominently display sponsor logos during training and in competi-tion. They are also available for alumni and community members to purchase. Furthermore, sponsors receive recognition on our website and are invited to a club meeting to talk about their business, organization, or product. We are also striving to bring exposure to our sponsors through social media. Partnering with our club also aligns your company with a group of young individuals, most of whom will continue cycling and racing through their post-graduate professional careers.

The club doesn’t just support its successful race team; it also strives to promote sustainability in our com-munity. At present, our current club consists on about 50 riders actively participating at races, UA sponsored events, and group rides. Our mission is to promote cycling as a recreational sport while supporting a nation-al-level race team.

Please review this concise packet that outlines our club goals, racing schedule, racing results and how we can partner to create a symbiotic sponsorship to promote collegiate cycling, sustainability and your brand. The club truly appreciates your review of this sponsorship packet.

Sincerely, The UA Cycling Club

Letter to Potential Sponsors
