Washburn Rural High School Artists Selected to Exhibit in Prestigious Scholastic Art Exhibition

Congratulations to the following students for having their artwork accepted into the 2013 Regional Scholastic Art Show in Wichita.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation's longest-running, most prestigious educational initiative supporting student

achievement in the visual and literary arts. This year, eight students will represent Washburn Rural with a total of 26 pieces in the show. The exhibit opens February 1st and will close on March 14th. Our gold key winners will have their work juried for possible inclusion

into the National Scholastic Award Exhibition held in New York City. Winners will be honored at the award ceremony held at the Wichita

Center for the Arts on Sunday, March 10th.
