About Us

Saniki Creations is a jewelry label specializing in Handmade Chainmaille Jewelry, Accessories and Home Decor by artist, Penny Cheng.

Using centuries old techniques of connecting individual metal rings together to form a specific pattern or weave. The weaves are then transformed to produce contemporary and modern jewelry creations to adorn.

All Chainmaille creations are Handmade to Order, with Stainless Steel and Bright Aluminum. Copper, Jewelers Brass and Bronze are also incorporated into many designs. Since most of the designs are limited in quantity, certain styles may not be available again.

Materials are specifically handpicked for quality and purchased locally within North America and are designed and produced in Penny Cheng's home studio in New Westminster, BC. Saniki Creations can also be found online at sanikicreations.com and at select juried shows.

The Artist

I have been creating handmade jewelry since 2009. Self taught, my journey started by designing beaded creations using an array of glass, crystals and semiprecious stones. My fondness for all things metal led the way to specialist in Chainmaille, which has enabled me to bring my vision of Wearable Art to life.
