Oregon Humanities gratefully acknowledges the supporters who made gifts between November 1, 2012, and October 31, 2013. Your generosity helped Oregon Humanities to connect Oregonians to ideas that change lives and transform communities.

    PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Idea lab is one of the best things we

have going for high school kids in the state of Oregon.

After Idea Lab, 24 teachers returned to school with continuing education credits, new lesson plans, discussion topics, and renewed energy, all of which promise to

have a positive impact on the 3,600 students in their classrooms.

    Idea LabABOUT THE PROGRAM

Idea Lab is a summer institute for Oregon teens and teachers who use

the humanities to consider the pursuit of happiness and how it shapes

    our culture.

    ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Conversation Project offers nonprofits free programs that engage community

members in thoughtful, challenging conver-sations about ideas critical to our daily lives

    and our states future.
