Members are requested to carefully read through these guidelines and use as a first point of reference when required. Please note: these guidelines are subject to change at Geelong Cats’ discretion. 2013 MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES GENERAL MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION These exclusive members’ guidelines are formulated in conjunction with the policies and procedures that are binding to membership entitlements of the Geelong Cats. - Two editions of the Cats Insider magazine (the Yearbook and Annual Report) during the season** (one per household)

- Exclusive Blue & White email sent weekly throughout the season (must provide Club with your valid email address)

- Access to match-day seats at a discounted rate (subject to availability and membership type) - Access to free general admission seating (usually level 3) at Etihad Stadium and (usually

level 4 Ponsford and Southern Stands) at the MCG if the game is not a fully designated seat event (subject to availability)

- Access to free general admission standing room and seating at Simonds Stadium if the game is not a fully designated seat event (subject to availability).

- Membership to Club Cats, dining and gaming venue located at Simonds Stadium (must be over 18 years of age)

- Free admission to all VFL Geelong home matches (excluding AFL match-days) and 50% discount on all away games (excluding VFL finals)

- Free admission to the AFL official practice match series (Regional Challenge) in which Geelong Cats compete.

Please note: entitlements are subject to change.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS BARCODE NUMBER This is the 12 digit number printed underneath the barcode on the reverse side of your membership card and is unique to your current membership. Your barcode number must be scanned or quoted when purchasing daily seating tickets, pre-booked general admission or finals tickets. You will not be able to purchase tickets through the ticket agent unless you have your membership card or this 12 digit number.* This number is valid for the current year only. We also suggest that you record your barcode number in a place where you can easily refer to it. For example store it in you mobile phone, wallet, or diary. * Due to privacy laws and Geelong Cats administrative procedures barcode numbers will NOT under any circumstances be given out over the phone or counter; however it can be emailed to the member’s registered email address. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that they have all membership cards or barcodes when purchasing tickets. If you have been given barcode numbers from another member you must ensure that these numbers are correct as we will be unable to assist you if they are incorrect. Under no circumstances should members use other member’s barcodes to purchase tickets without prior consent to do so.

MEMBER ACCOUNT ID Your Member Account ID is located underneath your name on the reverse of your membership card (for personalised cards only). This number is linked to all of your membership details and is yours for as long as you are a member of Geelong Cats.

TRANSFER OF CARDS ALL MEMBERSHIP CARDS ARE NON TRANSFERABLE.

Adults or concession card holders wishing to use a junior membership seat can upgrade the junior membership for Simonds Stadium matches only at the Ticketmaster box office on match day only (please see upgrading junior seats on match-day section). Seats cannot be upgraded for Melbourne based home games.

LOST/STOLEN CARDS Members are required to notify Membership Services in writing via email or letter of any lost or stolen membership and/or reserved seating card. The lost/stolen membership barcode will be cancelled immediately, therefore blocking its use for ground access. Upon presenting notification, a replacement

membership card will be issued. A $10 fee applies for lost card, if the card is stolen and a statutory declaration can be provided no fee will be charged.

UPDATING YOUR DETAILS Members are reminded to keep their contact details up to date with Membership Services or online via MyCATS Account. Members who have a season reserved seat must change their details in writing either via email, post or online via MyCATS Account. Members without reserved seating can change their details in writing, online via your MyCATS Account or over the phone by calling 1300 GO CATS. You will need to quote the Member Account IDs and names of all members in the household, the old contact information along with all the new details. All correspondence will be sent out as per current details on the database at the time of printing the material/correspondence therefore it is the member’s responsibility to update their details or they may miss out on important information.

GEELONG CATS CHEER SQUAD The Cheer Squad is an integral part of the Geelong Cats. They provide invaluable support not only cheering on the team on match-days, but by assisting the Club in a variety of ways. By joining the Cheer Squad you can be part of banner making, waving flags & floggers, participating in chants on match-day as well as their many fundraising activities. GEELONG CATS SUPPORTER GROUPS Our supporter groups are always looking for new people to join as members. We currently have official supporter groups based all over Australia and a new one has started in the Middle East. MEMBERSHIP ADD ON PACKAGE DUE BY DATE The due by date for season seating, Full and Restricted Social Club, Premiership Members and Junior add on packages will be printed on the renewal form, as well as printed in the 2013 Membership Brochure. Dates may vary from year to year however this will generally be mid-December. Members will not receive personal renewal reminders or personal follow ups via mail, email or telephone if their membership has not been renewed after the due date.

Failure to renew Social Club or Premiership Membership by the specified due date in each year will forfeit the member’s right of renewal and members will be required to go on the waiting list to have renewal rights in the future. Failure to renew season seating will forfeit the member’s right of renewal.

Un-renewed seating will be returned to the pool of seats for change/upgrade and new seat applicants. Members who have failed to renew seating will be required to re-apply for season seating as a new applicant.

LATE RENEWALS The acceptance of any late renewal will be determined solely by Geelong Cats. In such cases where late renewals are offered, late fees may be applicable. Alternatively if a late renewal is not accepted, members will be required to re-apply for seating as a new applicant (subject to availability).

FINALS AND GRAND FINAL TICKETING Please refer to geelongcats.com.au for up to date ticketing information leading up to and during the finals. Geelong Cats will communicate finals and Grand Final information to members in late August/early September should Geelong Cats be participating. This will include information regarding accessing a Grand Final ticket. This information will be communicated via direct mail, Blue & White email and on the Geelong Cats and AFL websites. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that their contact information is correct and that they have familiarised themselves with this information.

The following information is subject to change by the AFL, ticketing agent or the Geelong Cats. Geelong Cats members will have access to purchase a ticket only if Geelong Cats are competing.

WEEKS 1-3 There is a limit of one ticket per member; however this may increase at the discretion of the AFL. Members will need their barcode numbers to purchase tickets. Members are advised to check membership.geelongcats.com.au or afl.com.au closer to finals for further information on how and when to purchase tickets.

The following members do not have access to finals ticketing:

- Full AFL Geelong Club Support members (must purchase tickets through AFL allocation) - Social Club Life Members who have not purchased an eligible Geelong Cats membership - Members who purchased their membership after 31 August - Members who hold a Supporter membership - Club Cats Gold Card, Tabaret and Gaming members.

AFL GRAND FINAL The Club will communicate information relating to the Grand Final to members in late August/early September should Geelong Cats be participating in finals. Eligible members will need their barcode numbers to register for tickets.

- The following members do not have access to Grand Final ticketing: - Country/Interstate Members - Full AFL Geelong Club Support members (must purchase tickets through AFL allocation) - Social Club Life Members who have not purchased an eligible Geelong Cats membership - Members who purchased their membership after 31 August - Members who hold a Supporter Membership - Club Cats Gold Card, Tabaret and Gaming Members - 3-Game Members.

Those members with Priority Access (Social Club Members and Premiership members with eligible memberships) will be required to follow the appropriate procedures as communicated by the Club in order to secure their ticket. Members who do not follow the procedure as outlined by the Club will forfeit their right to access a ticket.

MEMBER RESERVED SEATING &TICKETING INFORMATION SEASON SEATING TERMS & CONDITIONS

- Geelong Cats reserves the right to increase prices and/or determine and change the price category of seats at its discretion.

- Geelong Cats reserves the right to re-configure or change the seating layout and or the bay/stand design in conjunction with Simonds Stadium Management as required. Geelong Cats is not obligated to notify or seek approval from seat holders to make changes to seating or surrounding areas.

- Stadium seating remains the property of Stadium Management and is made available to Geelong Cats to offer a renewal/lease arrangement to members on a year by year basis for Geelong Cats home games only. Season seat holders do not hold any rights to access their season seat for any other events or games apart from home games as specified by Geelong Cats within the AFL season.

- 100% viewing of the game and arena is not guaranteed from any category of seating. Any seat classified as restricted viewing will be determined by Geelong Cats with any such seat being charged at a lower price category at the Geelong Cats discretion. Any seat classified as either undercover or underneath a roof does not guarantee protection from the elements.

- Seat holders are required to purchase a membership for every season seat held/ renewed. Memberships therefore must be paid for at the time of renewing. Additional memberships are also required for those who hold one or more seats and a Social Club membership.

- Memberships and season seating applications must be legitimate. Geelong Cats reserves the right to withhold membership and/or season seating found to be held outside Club guidelines.

- Melbourne members, 3-game members, Country/Interstate members, Supporter members and Full Social Club members are not entitled to apply for season reserved seating at Simonds Stadium.

- By renewing (making payment) of season seats in any year, members are agreeing to all of the terms of season seating as displayed on the Geelong Cats website, membership.geelongcats.com.au. Each member should review these terms prior to the renewal process.

- Requests to obtain or apply for season seating during the season cannot be fulfilled as seating has been returned for sale on a match by match basis. Members will be required to apply for the seat or seats in the following year at renewal time.

- Geelong Cats does not have the capacity to swap season seating once finalised for the current season.

- Seating is always subject to availability. - Geelong Cats reserves the right to amend policies and terms and conditions as outlined

herewith at its discretion without prior notification to members. - Geelong Cats reserves the right to check members’ membership cards and entitlements at

any stage throughout the season.

SEAT RENEWALS RENEWAL NOTIFICATIONS Season seating renewals are offered subject to availability and Geelong Cats will endeavour to offer a season seat renewal in each year to those who have held season seats in the previous year. This offer will be at the discretion of Geelong Cats and is not guaranteed with Geelong Cats reserving the right to these seats at all times. Should the Geelong Cats not be able to offer a seat renewal, the option of alternative seating may be offered at Geelong Cats discretion. Renewal notifications for membership and season seats will be sent to the registered address of the member in November of each year. It is the responsibility of the member to follow up renewal forms which may not have been received and to ensure the Geelong Cats has correct contact details at all times. For season seat holders this should be done before early December (for information on due by dates please see section).

SEAT APPLICATIONS SEAT TRANSFERS Season seats can be transferred to another existing or new member providing the appropriate section on the renewal form has been completed. Any transfers must also be received and the appropriate renewal fee paid by the specified due date. Seat transfers will not be accepted after the renewal due date.

Seat transfers are not available to Social Club undercover and open seat holders.

SEAT CHANGES Existing seat holders wanting to CHANGE either Simonds and/or Melbourne (Etihad & MCG) seat/s. If the seat/s are available at the time of application, these will be allocated at this time of renewal.

If the application is for specific seat/s that are not available at the time of renewal (i.e. returned/unrenewed seats), the application will be held and re-assessed in February 2013*, however payment for the existing seat/s and membership will be processed at the time of receiving the application.

ALL CHANGE APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5PM FRIDAY 14 DECEMBER 2012 *Seat/s are not guaranteed and are subject to availability at the time of application. If your request is unable to be fulfilled, you will retain your 2012 seat/s.

Existing seat holders wanting to ADD either Simonds and/or Melbourne (Etihad & MCG) seat/s to their group. Simply submit all renewing member/s form/s with the new seat/s application together. If the application for seat/s are available to add to the existing group at the time of renewal, these will be allocated at this time.

If the applicant wishes to swap existing seats (i.e. 4 seats) to get more seats together (i.e. an extra seat to end up with 5 seats in total) this can also be processed at the time of renewal.

If the application is for specific seat/s that are not available at the time of renewal (i.e. returned/unrenewed seats), the application will be held and re-assessed in February 2013*, however payment for the existing seat/s2012 renewing seat/s will be processed at the time of receiving the application. Payment details for the new request must be provided at the time of application and will be processed at the time of allocation.

Members wishing to be processed as a group change must lodge all applications together. Additional members cannot join the group once it has been processed, another separate application must be made, and this will only be accepted if Geelong Cats are still accepting applications.

Amendments to an application will not be accepted after the due by date or once an application has been processed. Changes to seating requirements on an application i.e. location or category will be accepted prior to processing providing this request has been received by Geelong Cats in writing.

The acceptance of a new application for seating does not guarantee that Geelong Cats will be able to fulfil this application for seating. Payment adjustments (if applicable) will only be processed should the application be successful.

NEW SEATS Applications for seating at either Simonds Stadium and/or Melbourne (Etihad & MCG) are available for 2013. Applications can be made for seating in areas designated for new seat holders and these will be allocated to you at the time of application. Alternatively applications can be submitted for seat/s in a specific location and this will be processed in February 2013*. Please note: once the application is received correspondence will not be entered into with seat applicants at the time of allocation of seats unless clarification of the application is required by Geelong Cats.

Payment details must be provided at the time of application and will be processed at the time of seat allocation.

Please note that should you wish to apply for season seating, you will be required to have one of the memberships outlined below:

Simonds Stadium Seating requires an accompanying: Home 11 or Home & Away 16

Melbourne Seating requires an accompanying: Home 11, Home & Away 16, Melbourne 11 or Country/Interstate 5** Both Simonds & Melbourne Seating require an accompanying: Home 11 or Home & Away 16

*Seat/s are not guaranteed and are subject to availability at the time of application. ** Conditions apply

SEATING FOR CHILDREN/JUNIORS Children must be 14 years of age and under as at 1 January in the current membership year to be eligible for junior priced seating. A copy of a Birth Certificate will be required for all new junior seat applications or where a date of birth is amended on an existing junior seat holders record. Random checks of junior status are conducted annually for existing seat holders and may result in a copy of a Birth Certificate being requested to verify junior status. Geelong Cats reserves the right to request a copy or to sight Birth Certificates for this purpose or at any time at their discretion.

Children three (3) years of age or under are not required to have a seat purchased for them; however they must not occupy a seat and will need to sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for the child whilst in the stadium.

The child is not permitted to sit in aisles or run/move around to the detriment of other attendees. If you wish to purchase a season seat for a child six (6) years of age and under and do not wish to purchase a junior membership then a Statutory Declaration must be provided indicating that this child will be the only person utilising the seat. These seats cannot be upgraded to an adult seat on match-days, forwarded or placed up for re-sale.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS REFUNDS Full refunds of season reserved seating may be offered at Geelong Cats discretion however full refunds will not be available after the commencement of the AFL season. Pro-rata refunds may be considered at Geelong Cats discretion after the commencement of the AFL season.

CANCELLATIONS Cancellation of an application will be accepted providing the application has not already been processed. A request for any such cancellation must be provided in writing to Geelong Cats.

TRANSFERRED MATCHES The AFL reserves the right to transfer scheduled home matches from Simonds Stadium, Etihad Stadium or the MCG to another venue. A “first-in-basis” seating area or equivalent reserved seat will be allocated to all patrons who hold a reserved seat at the venue from where the match was transferred.

STADIUM REDEVELOPMENTS Geelong Cats is not obligated to notify members of any proposed redevelopment which may impact upon members’ season seating. Should the stadium be undergoing redevelopment availability and access to season seating may be reduced. Geelong Cats reserves the right to reclaim seating during a re-development as required. In such instances Geelong Cats would endeavour to relocate/ offer alternative seating (subject to availability) to affected members at its discretion.

DAILY SEATING AND GENERAL ADMISSION ACCESS For all information on daily seating and general admission for Simonds Stadium please visit membership.geelongcats.com.au or contact Membership Services. Tickets will be available to purchase through Ticketmaster by phoning 1300 136 122, visiting any Ticketmaster outlet or via the Ticketmaster website.

SEASON SEAT HOLDERS Members with season seats at Simonds Stadium and Full Social Club members are not eligible to upgrade to a daily reserved seat. Season seat holders who require additional reserved seating for guests may purchase seats through Ticketmaster (refer to membership.geelongcats.com.au for further information). Season seat holders and Full Social Club members wishing to sit somewhere other than in their season seat (or seating area) will be required to pay full general public pricing for any additional seat. Barcodes for season seat holders and Full Social Club members have been

COUNTRY/INTERSTATE MEMBER SEATING* Country members are entitled to one free seat at Simonds Stadium (providing they do not hold a season reserved seat at Simonds Stadium); along with up to three guest tickets. Members need to contact the Club on the Monday two weeks prior to the game to obtain this benefit; members must also ensure they have valid membership barcodes to relay the phone. Interstate members are entitled to discount on admission and seating to one Geelong Cats game in their state. Members need to contact the Club no later than the Friday four weeks prior to the game to order your tickets and obtain the discount.*

CATS SEAT RESALE Season seat holders who are unable to attend games at Simonds Stadium have the option to place their seat up for re-sale for selected games. Please see membership.geelongcats.com.au for a step by step guide on how to place your seat up for resale. Season seat holders can release their seat via their MyCATS Account. Season seat holders can offer their seats for resale for all eligible games from approximately the start of the season (dates will be outlined on membership.geelongcats.com.au) until the Thursday prior to each game (12noon EST). Seats will be released for sale through Ticketmaster on the Monday 2 weeks prior to the match from 9am (EST) (phone/website/ outlets). Any additional seats that have been placed up for resale after the Monday will go on-sale the Friday prior to the match from 9am (EST) through Ticketmaster (phone/ website/outlets) until sold out. For successfully sold seats the season seat holder will receive a credit outlined on their renewal form, this will automatically be used towards the following year’s membership and seat renewal. CATS SEAT FORWARDING Season seat holders who are unable to attend games at Simonds Stadium have the option to forward their seat/s to family and/or friends to use for the day. This option allows you to keep your membership card and your family/friends can then print out daily paper tickets via email to use for match-day. Season seat holders can forward their seats for all eligible games. Please see membership.geelongcats.com.au for a step-by-step guide on how to forward your seat. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES Tickets purchased on a game by game basis will be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant ticketing agency with a “no refund and exchange” policy generally applying.

ON-SELLING Geelong Cats does not authorise the on-selling of tickets by any means (both season and daily). Unauthorised on-selling of tickets may result in membership/ticket cancellation.

UPGRADING JUNIOR SEATS ON MATCH-DAY Junior season seat tickets can be upgraded at any Ticketmaster box office on game day only. This only applies to adults or concessions wishing to use a junior seat. This upgrade is for the seat component only and does not include any discount for membership fees paid. Non-members wishing to utilise the junior seat will be required to pay the full admission on top of the seat upgrade cost. Members (without season seating) wishing to utilise the junior seat must present their valid membership and only the seat upgrade cost will apply. The upgrade cost is determined by the difference in seating price plus admission and upgrade fee. Failure to upgrade on game day may result in cancellation of membership and seat. Non-member adults wishing to utilise a concession membership and seat will only be required to purchase an adult general admission ticket from

DISABLED SEATING Disabled seating can be obtained (subject to availability) through Ticketmaster by phoning 1300 136 122. Members with companion cards must present the companion card when purchasing a ticket in order to obtain a second ticket for their companion at no charge.

GAME & GATE OPENING TIMES Game and gate opening times are subject to change. Please refer to geelongcats.com.au or recorded information on the phone system for times.

ENTRY TERMS & CONDITIONS AFL Conditions of Entry are displayed at the point of Stadium entry. Entry conditions for Simonds Stadium are: 1. No representations are made that there is space available in the ground suitable for viewing the match 2. Ground Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person 3. It is a condition of entry that the AFL and its servants and agents shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage (including without limitation, loss or damage caused by the negligence of the AFL or its servants and agents and incidental and consequential loss or damage) arising in any matter wholly or partly from or in connection with your use of these grounds 4. No ticket refunds will be paid 5. Concession patrons are required to show concession identification at turnstiles and ticket selling points 6. Video cameras are not permitted in this venue without prior written permission from the AFL. 7. Ground Management reserves the right to search bags for alcohol and any other banned items. Banned items are prohibited from ground entry and will be confiscated if found (see Banned items section for more information).

MATCH-DAY COMPLAINTS Complaints on match-day should be directed to a match-day attendant. Depending on the nature of the issue, complaints will be handled by the security or match-day attendant or directed to ground management. Anti-social behaviour can be anonymously reported by texting the seat location to 0488 252 000, a match-day attendant will then come to assess the situation in your area and deal with it accordingly.

LOST OR FORGOTTEN MEMBERSHIPS SIMONDS STADIUM If members have forgotten/lost their membership for games played at Simonds Stadium, they must report to the Geelong Cats Customer Service window located on the western side of Simonds Stadium on match-day from gate opening time. A daily seat card (for season seat holders) or daily Social Club access (for Social Club members) can be issued valid for that match only. This is a once off option for members only; friends or family cannot use this as a way to access the ground. Members MUST present a form of identification upon collection of the temporary match-day ticket and a booking fee may apply.

Members* wishing for friends or family to utilise their membership card for match day entry should use the seat forwarding option (see section) or give them the actual membership card. Membership

ETIHAD STADIUM / MCG Unfortunately if you have forgotten your membership on match-day for any games played at Etihad Stadium or the MCG we are unable to re-issue you with a replacement ticket.

Members will need to purchase a full entry ticket from the box office on match-day.

ENTRY FOR CHILDREN Children six (6) years of age and under are not required to have a pre-booked ticket to have access into the general admission area (subject to capacity).

SMOKING POLICY All stadiums are ‘smoke free’ venues to help promote a healthy environment for all patrons, staff and officials. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the boundary fence line of Simonds Stadium.

- Toilet blocks are ‘smoke free’ - All dining/bar facilities are ‘smoke free’ - Outdoor seating and standing areas are ‘smoke free’ - Smoking is not permitted between the rear of the buildings and the fencing.

BANNED ITEMS The following items are prohibited entry to the stadium: animals, alcohol (BYO), glass items, umbrellas, prams/strollers (if they cannot be stored under a match-day seat), boxes & crates, cans, large eskies, video cameras*, fold up chairs**, sharp objects, weapons eg. knives, commercially prepared foods eg. take away foods such as McDonalds, KFC, Subway and pizza as well as freshly prepared food eg. fish and chips, hamburgers or take away coffee. All bags are subject to inspection and Ground Management reserves the right to refuse entry or confiscate any banned items. * Written approval must be given by the AFL for use of video camera at all AFL matches ** Small camping stools without arms may be accepted at Simonds Stadium within the Gary Ablett Terrace standing room. These will only be permitted for use by children.

VENUE BEHAVIOURAL STANDARDS We want to ensure all Simonds Stadium matches are an enjoyable and safe experience for all attendees, staff and players. In accordance with local, state and federal law, the Geelong Cats has initiated a policy where use of any abusive, discriminative, victimising, harassing or anti-social behaviour including the use of bad language racial remarks or physical violence (including threats of) will not be tolerated. The club takes all behavioural complaints seriously and will endeavour to follow up on all complaints. Members and their guests are required to behave appropriately and not violate behavioural standards previously mentioned whilst attending any match at Simonds Stadium.

Should members experience any anti-social behaviour (including behaviour directed at players, match day staff or patrons) they can text their seat location to 0488 252 000 and security/match-day staff will attend the location to investigate.

Geelong Cats staff have the discretion to search bags or check patrons tickets and/or memberships at any time they deem necessary. The Club expects that members and patrons comply and act in an honest, responsible and lawful manner at all times within these guidelines. In the event of a complaint, the Club will be forced to take action and this may result in the offender/s being removed from the stadium and/or forfeit membership privileges at the Club’s discretion.

ATM Cash withdrawal facilities are located inside Club Cats at the main bar. On match days a portable ATM is usually located in the Legends Plaza. Alternatively there are service stations equipped with ATM’s situated within walking distance from the stadium.

BOX OFFICE COLLECTIONS/SALES General Admission tickets as well as reserved seating tickets (subject to availability) can be purchased at the Bernie Smith, Polly Farmer, Doug Wade (once Players Stand is open) and Bob Davis gates on match-day from gate opening time. Ticketmaster ticket collection or member reserved seat ticket upgrades are available at all of these gates from gate opening time.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES OR GENERAL ENQUIRIES The Membership Services office and Reception will be open from gate opening time up until 20 minutes after the final siren for any over the counter enquiries on the match-days. Phone enquiries can be made during this time by calling (03) 5225 2300 only.

FIRST AID On a match day, there are 2 first aid locations at Simonds Stadium. One is located under the Ford Stand at the Northern end of the ground. The other is located in under the new Players Stand at the Southern end of the ground. Should you need assistance please contact either the security or match-day staff member closest to you.

LOST & FOUND Items lost or found by patrons may be handed into or claimed at the Reception office (located in the western entry with membership and merchandise) for recording and safe keeping.

MATCH-DAY ASSISTANCE Members are advised to approach either the security or match-day staff should you have an enquiry or problem on the day of the game. These attendants will contact either Stadium Management or Geelong Cats staff depending on the enquiry. FULLY DESIGNATED SEAT EVENT (FULLY TICKETED GAMES) For Etihad Stadium, a game may be declared as being a fully designated seat event (fully ticketed), which means every patron attending the game must hold a reserved seat ticket. In the event that Etihad Stadium and the AFL announce a Geelong Cats game as being a fully designated seat event, we will do our best to inform members of this via the website, Blue & White email and upcoming game information on the phone system.

If a home game is a fully designated seat event, all members without a season seat at

PUBLIC TRANSPORT Trains There are two train stations close to the MCG. Jolimont Station is a five-minute walk through Yarra Park to the ground. Richmond Station is on the south-eastern side of the

MCG and is a short walk past Punt Road Oval to the Great Southern Stand.

Trams Two services connect Flinders Street with the eastern suburbs via Wellington Parade, the 75 (City-East Burwood) and 48 (City-North Balwyn) stop just outside the MCG. The 70 (City-Wattle Park) detours from Flinders Street along Swan Street, and it’s a short walk across the footbridge to the ground.

- Social Club membership cards must be displayed at all times on match-days - Full Social Club members are not eligible to have a season Simonds Stadium seat linked to

their Social Club membership. If they wish to hold a Simonds Stadium season seat they must take out a second Geelong Cats membership

- Abuse of Social Club membership privileges against the Social Club guidelines will lead to the forfeiture of these privileges

- Social Club membership does not guarantee access to the Social Club area or seating within the Social Club. Access is always subject to capacity and availability and members must follow arrangements as outlined in these guidelines or as communicated by the Club

- All Full Social Club members must hold a valid Geelong Cats membership (excludes Supporter, 3-Game, Country/Interstate 5 game and Melbourne 11 Memberships).

RENEWAL NOTIFICATIONS Social Club (Full and Restricted) renewals are offered subject to availability and Geelong Cats will endeavour to offer renewal in each year to those who have held Social Club membership in the previous year. This offer will be at the discretion of Geelong Cats and is not guaranteed. Should the Geelong Cats not be able to offer Social Club renewal, the option of alternative membership may be offered at Geelong Cats discretion. Renewal notifications for Social Club membership will be sent to the registered address of the member in November of each year. It is the responsibility of the member to follow up renewal notifications which may not have been received. They also must ensure the Geelong Cats has correct contact details at all times.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS The Geelong Cats will issue all members with a combined Social Club and Geelong Cats membership card, with the exception of AFL members who will receive a separate Social Club card from the Club and their AFL Club Support membership card from the AFL. AFL Club support members must use the membership card issued by Geelong Cats to enter the ground as your AFL barcode/card is invalid for entry at Simonds Stadium.

SIMONDS STADIUM

ACCESS TO THE SOCIAL CLUB Access to the Social Club is through the Social Club gate situated on the western side of the stadium, outside Club Cats. Members will need to present their Social Club membership card to gain entry into the ground. All guest passes are inclusive of ground entry. Guests must provide a valid barcoded Social Club guest pass to access the ground (regardless if they are Club members or not). Restricted Social Club members must have a valid barcoded Social Club guest pass as well as their membership card to access the Social Club area (scan into the ground using the guest pass).

GUEST PASSES Full Social Club members may purchase (subject to availability) two (2) guest passes to admit their guests to the Social Club at Simonds Stadium on match-day. Restricted Social Club members are required to purchase one (1) guest pass for themselves if they wish to access the Social Club area on game day. Junior Social Club members do not have access to purchase Social Club guest passes.

All Social Club guest passes for Simonds Stadium include ground entry and are to be used to access the stadium on match day. Guests who hold a valid Geelong Cats membership or who hold a Restricted Social Club membership (and no Simonds Stadium reserved seat) must provide their barcode number to obtain the members guest pass rate. Guest passes can be purchased for adult, junior * (between 4 and 14 years) and toddler ^ (under 4 years).

Guests who are Non-members or guests who hold a Club membership with a Simonds Stadium reserved seat can obtain guest passes at the non-member rate (inclusive of ground entry price). Guest passes can be purchased for adult, junior* (between 4 and 14 years) and toddler^ (under 4 years).

*The parent/guardian is responsible for the junior at all times whilst in the stadium. Children aged four and above may occupy an open seat however they must not sit in aisles or run/move around at the detriment of other attendees. ^Children under the age of four must obtain a guest pass (free of charge). Children under the age of four (4) must not occupy a seat and remain on their parent/guardian’s lap. The parent/guardian is responsible for the child at all times whilst in the stadium. Even though the pass is obtained free of charge the guest pass is still counted as part of the member’s entitlement of guest passes.

PURCHASING GUEST PASSES Social Club guest passes go on-sale on the Monday four (4) weeks prior to each match (Tuesday if Monday is a public holiday). Guest passes can be purchased in person at Membership Services or by phoning 1300 GO CATS. It is recommended that guest passes are booked early, as demand for passes often exceeds availability. The maximum number of guest passes is two (2) per Full Social Club member (holding concession or adult membership) per match. If however, guest passes are not sold out by the Thursday prior to the match then a Full Social Club member may purchase up to two (2) additional passes. When purchasing/collecting guest passes in person the Social Club card must be presented at the time. Payment in person can be made by cash, EFTPOS or credit card (MasterCard and Visa only). When phoning to purchase guest passes please make sure you have your Member Account ID and credit card details available (MasterCard and Visa only). Guest Passes booked over the phone by 5pm Friday two (2) weeks prior to the match will be mailed to the member’s registered address. Passes booked after this time will be left for collection upon presentation of the Social Club card. A maximum of four (4) guests can be signed into the Social Club by one member. Abuse of Social Club membership rights by purchasing more than the allocated amount of guest passes will result in forfeiture of Social Club membership privileges.

DRESS CODE Members are reminded that the normal dress code requirement of smart casual is that clothing be clean, neat and tidy at all times. Members and guests will not be permitted to enter the Social Club areas unless they comply with the appropriate standards of dress for that area. Members are responsible for their guests and are required to inform their guests of the Social Club’s dress code before they attend.

MEMBERS LOUNGE/BAR The following minimum dress standards apply for male members and guests:

- Tailored pants/slacks worn with shirt and tie, open neck collared shirt/polo shirts - Geelong Cats apparel dress polo shirts (not Geelong Cats media polo shirts), or collared shirt

and a knitted jumper - It is no longer compulsory for men to wear a jacket in the Members lounge/bar, however, if a

jacket is worn, it must be a good quality suit or sports coat.

The following minimum dress standards apply for female members and guests:

- The equivalent of that applicable to males. Tailored slacks or skirts may be worn with a blouse and/or a jacket or jumper.

The following is unacceptable dress in the Members lounge/bar facilities*:

- Denim/cord attire including any type of jeans, jackets etc. - Wet weather attire and/or plastic rain jackets, parkas, full or ¾ length overcoats - Bomber jackets, wind-cheaters (including rugby jumpers) - T-shirts - Tracksuit attire - Sneakers, thongs, untidy or dirty footwear.

*At the discretion of the match-day staff.

After the final siren the minimum dress code for the Members lounge/bar is that required for the Club Cats bistro.

OPEN SEATING AREA (seating for Full members, Restricted members and guests)

- No dress code applies to the open seating area. If attending the Members lounge/ bar facilities you must comply fully with this dress code

- Members are entitled to wear wet weather attire whilst sitting in the open area.

UNDERCOVER SEATING AREA (seating for Full members over the age of 18 years only)

- The dress code for the Members lounge/bar applies however members are entitled to wear wet weather attire and coats whilst sitting in this area

- If attending the Members lounge/bar facilities you must comply fully with this dress code i.e. overcoats must be removed before entering.

MEMBERS LOUNGE/BAR All correctly attired, full members*, restricted members with valid guest pass* and adult guest pass holders over 18 years of age (in the company of a member) may use the viewing area behind the glass in the Members lounge/bar. Eligible patrons wishing to obtain a seat along the windows will need to obtain a ticket from the wine bar from the match-day volunteers.

Tickets will then be drawn for the limited number of seats available in this area prior to start of the game**. Members and guests must conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner while in the Members lounge/bar; members and guests must not knock or hit the windows.

*Juniors are not permitted in the Members lounge/bar. ** Times may vary depending on game start time.

FINAL SIREN ACCESS After the final siren non-members, family and juniors will be admitted to the Social Club lounge/bar, subject to capacity,* providing the member has signed these guests into the Social Club book and the guests meet the minimum dress code requirements for Club Cats.

* Priority will be given to spouse pass holders after final siren should the Social Club be at capacity.

OPEN SEATING AREA Members and their guests may view the match from the open seating area in the Social Club Members Reserve, subject to availability. Access to this area can only be gained by displaying either a Full Social Club membership card or a valid guest pass. Members CANNOT reserve large numbers of seats by placing personal items on/over the seats.

No seats are to be reserved prior to match-day gate opening time. Any articles found prior to this time will be removed by Geelong Cats staff (items can be collected from Geelong Cats Reception). Please note members will receive a written warning should seats be found to be reserved in an inappropriate manner. Continued abuse of

Social Club membership rights by reserving seats in the improper manner will result in suspension or exclusion of membership entitlements or cancellation of Social Club membership completely.

UNDERCOVER SEATING AREA Undercover seating in the Social Club Members Reserve, located in front of the Members Lounge, is available for use by correctly attired Full Social Club members only. A “first-in” basis applies to seating in this area and can only be accessed by Full Social Club members for their own use, one seat per eligible member. Full Social Club members must obtain a seat tag at the entrance to the Members Lounge. This tag clearly displays the member’s identification and is to be placed in the cardholder on any unreserved seat in the undercover area. Members are not able to reserve seats by placing personal items on/over seats. The following Social Club members do not have access to undercover seating:

- Junior members - Concession members under the age of 18 years - Restricted Social Club members - Guest pass holders.

CONDITIONS All guest passes purchased are subject to the following conditions:

- Guests must scan into the ground with the pass for the applicable match, should the guest hold a Club membership (no Simonds reserved seat), this barcode will be retired against the pass barcode

- Members are responsible for their guests and their actions whilst they enjoy the Social Club facilities

- Members must accompany/be present on match-day with guests. Passes cannot be purchased for guests if the member is not attending the game

- All guests must be signed in by Social Club members - Guests utilising the Members lounge/bar areas must sign the visitor’s book and be

accompanied by the Member at all times - Guests are required to abide by the dress and behavioural codes of the Social Club. It is the

responsibility of the Social Club member to inform their guest of these codes - In the event of a complaint, the Club will be forced to take action by removing the guest from

the stadium and the member may forfeit Social Club membership privileges - Guests must display their guest pass at all times, (pins are available from Social Club security

staff or volunteers to pin the pass to the guests shirt or jacket if needed) - Under no circumstances are members and guests under the age of 18 years permitted in the

Members lounge/bar from the start of the main match until the final siren - Members and guests under the age of 18 can access the Members lounge/bar prior to the

main match to dine with a parent/guardian subject to availability. These members and guests can also access the lounge/bar after the final siren with a parent/guardian subject to capacity.

SPOUSE PASSES Spouse passes entitle the spouse of a Social Club member to enjoy the facilities of the Social Club after the final siren on match-days.* Passes are only issued upon request from members in person from Membership Services. Passes are valid for Simonds Stadium home games only.

* Passes do not entitle the bearer to stadium entry, seating, or access to the Social Club during the match and are non-transferable. After the final siren the holder of the Spouse Pass must sign the visitors’ book before entering Social Club facilities.

DINING FACILITIES Members and their guests may enjoy lunch in the Members Lounge Dining Room or Club Cats Bistro (subject to availability) prior to the match. The dining rooms will operate from 11.30am to 1.30pm (dependant on gate opening/game times) on match days and a selection of meals will be available at various prices. Members cannot pre-book into the Members Lounge Dining Room, however bookings are essential for Club Cats Bistro (subject to availability). To book call Club Cats Bistro on (03) 5225 2355.

LIQUOR LICENSING Current guidelines for dress code, signing in of guests and behaviour standards are required due to Liquor Licensing regulations/agreements. As a member and/or guest of the Social Club, you will be asked to observe the principles of responsible consumption of alcohol. This will ensure a safe and friendly environment for all patrons and staff.

In association with the Liquor Licensing Commission and the Liquor Control Act the Club has adopted the following principles of responsible serving and consumption of alcohol that all patrons must adhere to:

- Staff will not serve anyone under 18 years of age - Staff will refuse liquor service to intoxicated patrons - Drunk and disorderly patrons will be asked to leave the premises - A customer who is drunk, violent or quarrelsome must leave the licensed premises when

requested to do so. Maximum penalty exceeds $13,000.

Social Club members and/or their guests breaching the above may:

- Be refused service by the hospitality staff - Be removed from the premises by the Geelong Cats, Security and/or match-day staff - Have their Social Club membership and entitlements suspended - Have their Social Club membership and entitlements cancelled.

BEHAVIOURAL STANDARDS According to local, state and federal law, the Geelong Cats has instigated a policy where the use of bad language or racist remarks will not be tolerated. All members and their guests are required to behave appropriately whilst attending a match at Simonds Stadium. In the event of a complaint, the Club will be forced to take action by removing the member/guest from the stadium and the member may forfeit Social Club membership privileges. Please note unacceptable behaviour towards players, Geelong Cats staff, security, match-day attendants or other Social Club members will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or expulsion.

WARNING SYSTEM For a breach of behavioural standards a verbal and/or written warning will be given. All verbal and written warnings will be placed on the Social Club member’s permanent file. A maximum of three (3) warnings will be issued before the Club will either have the membership card suspended or cancelled depending on the nature of events.

QUERIES/COMPLAINTS Should clarification be required on any membership matter contained herein, please contact Membership Services on 1300 GO CATS. Should any problems arise at Simonds Stadium on match-days, please approach either the security staff or Skilled match-day staff positioned nearest to you or visit our staff at the Membership Services counter.

FRIDAY NIGHT IN THE SOCIAL CLUB Join other members in the Social Club on Friday nights from 5.30pm-8pm*. All Social Club members and guests are welcome to come along and enjoy a drink!

*Friday nights in the Social Club will open depending on demand and availability.

AWAY MATCHES Unfortunately the Club is not able to offer Members access to Social Club facilities for away matches. If you wish to book seats for these matches, please contact the appropriate ticket agent.

ETIHAD STADIUM ACCESS Full and Restricted Social Club members will be required to book a seat for themselves (at no cost) and purchase their guests a seat through Ticketmaster prior to, or on the day of each Etihad Stadium home match (subject to capacity and availability). Tickets will be available from the members on-sale date at the beginning of the year (usually mid March). Members and guests will not be admitted to the Social Club area without obtaining a seat ticket. Members are entitled to purchase a maximum of four (4) guest passes (subject to capacity) for

Etihad Stadium home matches; however this may be reduced depending on demand.

Guest pass prices will be equivalent to the prices charged by Etihad Stadium for seating on Level 2 plus admission costs if they are not Geelong Cats members. When booking seats through Ticketmaster if guests are Geelong Cats members you will require their membership barcodes to obtain their discounted tickets.

DRESS CODE No dress code applies to the Social Club seating area at Etihad Stadium; however the same smart casual dress standards that applies at Simonds Stadium on match-days is preferred.

SEATING ARRANGEMENTS Seating will be on Level 2 between Aisles 39 and 46; this is premium seating with excellent views of the arena. Your best entry point is Gate 2 located off the Spencer Street Bridge. As previously stated, seats need to be purchased prior to, or on the day of the match before entering the Social Club area (subject to capacity and availability). SPOUSE PASSES Spouse passes are not available for Etihad Stadium.

DINING FACILITIES The Social Club allocation is in close proximity to the Livewire area and its amenities, the Arena View Restaurant and level 2 bars. Dining facilities for Etihad Stadium are located in the Endeavour Room, which offers full bar services including beer on tap, a selection of spirits as well as comfortable sit down dining facilities. Members will also be able to access their seats from this room. Please note this bar will be closed after 3/4 time.

MCG ACCESS Full and Restricted Social Club members will be required to book a seat for themselves and purchase their guests a seat through Ticketek via internet or phone only prior to MCG home matches (subject to capacity and availability). Tickets will be available from the members on-sale date at the beginning of the year (usually mid March). There will be a small Ticketek transaction fee per booking. Members and guests will not be admitted to the Social Club area without obtaining a seat ticket. Members are entitled to purchase a maximum of two (2) guest passes (subject to capacity) for MCG home matches.

Guest passes MUST be purchased via Ticketek at the time of booking the members seat.

Guest pass prices will be equivalent to the prices charged by MCG for seating on N Level (Level 2) plus admission costs if they are not Geelong Cats members. When booking seats through Ticketek if guests are Geelong Cats members you will require their membership barcodes to obtain their discounted tickets.

DRESS CODE No dress code applies to the Social Club seating area at the MCG. However the same smart casual dress standards that applies at Simonds Stadium on match-days is preferred.

SEATING ARRANGEMENTS Seating will be on Level 2 between Aisles N4 and N10; it is premium seating with excellent views of the arena. Your best entry points are Gate 4 or 5. DINING FACILITIES Social Club dining facilities for the MCG are to be within the Hassett Room (level 2). The Medallist Bar will also be open for Social Club member access.

Please note that this bar is permitted to stay open until one (1) hour after the game concludes, providing there is sufficient trade at the bar, otherwise the bar will close earlier.

Social Club Members will have priority access to purchase a Grand Final ticket only if Geelong Cats are competing. Geelong Cats will communicate finals information to members in late August/early September should Geelong Cats compete. This will include information regarding accessing a Grand Final ticket. This information will be communicated via mail, through Blue & White email and on the Geelong Cats and AFL websites. It is the responsibility of the Social Club member to ensure that their contact information is correct and that they have familiarised themselves with this information.

The following Social Club members DO NOT have priority access to purchase

GRAND FINAL TICKETS:

- Full AFL Geelong Club Support members - Restricted Social Club members - Members who hold a Country/Interstate membership - Social Club Life Members who have not purchased an eligible Geelong Cats membership - Members who have purchased their membership after 31 August of the current year.

Social Club members will be required to follow the appropriate procedures as communicated by the Club in order to secure their ticket. Members who do not follow the procedure as outlined by the Club will forfeit their right to a Grand Final ticket.
