Raffle! We’ll be having a raffle! We’ve already got over $200 worth of prizes, including miniatures, rules, terrain, and gift cards lined up and
expect to have even more by October 26th. Spend a couple $$$ on raffle tickets to help our club and you could walk away with ten
times the amount spent in prizes. C’mon, it’s for a good cause and remember – unlucky with dice, lucky with raffle tickets! Tickets are
$2 each, or 3 for $5, or 7 for $10. Raffle will be held at 5 PM and you MUST be present to win.

Title: DBA Participation Description: DBA is an easy to learn yet hard to master ancients game. We’ll be playing all day long;
individual games are of short duration (less than 1 hour) so come and go as you please – you can play
over and over throughout the day. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is needed. If you
have an army bring it or use one that will be provided for you. Games will run continuously until 4 PM.

Title: Thunderbolts Over Japan Description: Newly based in the Okinawa area, USAAF P-47s began conducting fighter sweeps over Japan in late May 1945. During the first of these, on 28 May, the
Thunderbolts encountered opposition in the form of the N1K2-J, the JNAF’s best
fighter. Time for a good old-fashioned dogfight! Easy to learn rules, everything
provided, pilots fresh out of flight school welcome! Game starts at 10 AM.

Title: Battle of Dego 14-15 April 1796 Description: General Bonaparte has just started his 1796 campaign and won
his opening engagement at Montenotte. Several days later his army won, then
lost, then won again the same battlefield at Dego. History dismisses this
small battle, but why did Bonaparte have to lambaste his retreating army to return to the battlefield? Game starts at 10 AM.

Title: Defense of Strongpoint 116 Description: Co. Vav, consisting of 5 Sho’t Kais and a company of
Tzanhanim (paratroopers) must stop the Syrian armored brigade
with infantry supports thrust against Mutzav 116. Centurions vs. a
whole lot of T-54s! Will the better Israeli shooting dominate? Or
will the Syrians steamroller their way through Mutzav 116? The San
Fernando Wargamers present this battle from the Golan Heights, 6 October 1973, during the Yom Kippur War. Game starts at 11 AM.

Title: On the Road To Berlin Description: As the Russians continue to beat back the German forces in the aftermath of Operation Citadel, a Russian battalion faces a heavily
entrenched group of Germans occupying a series of hill passes. With the
Germans dug in, the Russians must prepare for a hard fight. Easy to learn
rules, everything provided. Game starts at 12 Noon.

Title: Amphipolis 422 B.C. Description: The Athenians vs. the Spartans in a classic Peloponnesian War
encounter as Brasidas leads the Peloponnesians, including a handful of elite Spartiates against the Athenians of Cleon and Nicias. Experience the full flavor of
hoplite warfare. Lead out your phalanx. Have the mantis make the sphagia. Sing
the paean. Clash in the epidromos and experience the othismos, which will end
when one side’s hoplites break. Play with beautifully painted 28 mm Athenian and
Spartan armies. Hoplomachia provides a fun and period flavor-filled experience of

blown off station. However, the British inshore squadron has

Title: Muskets and Tomahawks Description: This is a tale of forbidden love, cruel jealousy, and brave sacrifice.
When beautiful Agnes McDaniel’s secret affair with a Huron chief becomes public
the Huron, aided by a local French commander with a Jesuit priest in tow, raze the
McDaniel farm, kill her husband, and take Agnes and her sister away to become part
of their tribe. Smoke from the ruined farm has alerted a British patrol, accompanied
by an Iroquois war party, led by Lt. Colder-Patton. Long infatuated with Agnes and
frustrated by her rebukes, seeing her with her lover is too much for the lieutenant’s
brittle mind. That’s fine with the Iroquois, as they’re always looking for an excuse to
go on the warpath against their Huron archenemies. Game starts at 3 PM.
