A customer service representative will issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number that must be marked plainly on the outside of the return package. Note: Any package without a return number will not be accepted at the factory. A 15% restocking charge will be applied. Non-standard product will not be accepted for return.

Bridge Saw Blades: Bladeshaft/Spindle RPM ChartPlease use the following blade application chart as a general reference guide for best performance when cutting mixed granites and marbles. Spindle RPM can alter blade’s cutting characteristics.

Water Flow and VolumeWater flow and volume are very important to the performance of a blade. Never run a diamond blade dry unless it is designed to be run dry. However, changing the amount of water can alter the blade’s cutting characteristics.

Core Bits Below are general RPMs for core bits running at optimum performance levels. Levels may vary depending on the manufacturer. It is important to note that running core bits at faster RPMs isn’t always necessary. When diamond tools exceed their recommended speed, the diamonds tend to glaze over and the tool fails to work properly. To fix this, core bits can often be redressed using a conditioning stick. The same rule is applied if using water. Excessive amounts of water can cause the tool to work at a less-than optimal level.

Polishing Pads Below are common RPM guidelines for optimum performance levels of various polishing pads. In general, when pads are used on grinders operating between 9,000 – 15,000 RPMs, the pads will glaze and the optimum polish will not occur.

yy Fast3r™ are state-of-the-art, high speed CNC diamond shaping tools, which perform up to three times faster than standard CNC tools. These tools have an inside diameter of 60 mm with a center hole of 35 mm. The external diameter varies depending on the shape profile. Custom profiles, 2 cm and 4 cm shapes and other edge details are available, please call for details.

Diamant Boart offers two different types of CNC tools, Fast3r™ shaping tools and Xbrite™ polishing wheels.

XBrITe™.

yy The Xbrite™ CNC wheels are a new ceramic-type rubber polishing wheel. When used on a high quality CNC machine, they produce a superior polish on both granite and engineered stone. These polishing wheels eliminate glazing on engineered stone or rubber strips flying off the wheels. When used within the recommended parameters, the wheels will polish granite or engineered stone with three positions. Custom profiles, 2 – 4 cm sizes and custom edges are available, please call for details.

Diamant Boart offers large diameter blades from 24” – 12’ for granite, limestone, sandstone and marble. Most blades are available in standard core, silent core or laser cut cores. Diamant Boart also offers on site re-tipping of blades and replacement cores, up to 12’.

Due to the material variations in hardness and abrasiveness, specifications for these blades should be discussed with one of our trained technical service personnel at 800-845-1805.

All blades are assembled and repaired at our service centers located in the USA and Canada. Diamant Boart carries a full range of segments for thin-veneer, chop saw and block saw blades at our service centers.

Diamant Boart offers a complete range of wire engineered for maximum productivity in the quarry or processing plant. Our wire is constructed using state-of-the-art production methods. The injection process (rubber and plastic) and bead manufacturing are completed to precise specifications using only the highest quality components. The various wires are designed based on the hardness and abrasiveness of the specific stone each wire needs to cut.
