Greetings!

Mike and Courtney here for another year of wedding awesomeness. Let’s get

some stuff out in the open first and then we will let you move on to page two. We are

a husband and wife photog team. We were married in March of 2009 in Las Vegas in

what was quite possibly the most unoriginal wedding ever. If we knew then what we

know now, things would have been so much different. One day we will have an epic vow

renewal but until that day comes, we enjoy shooting some crazy, out of the box, unique

weddings. We have two dogs named Guinness and Jaeger and they pretty much rule

our worlds. Mike grew up as a Vegas local and Courtney is from Chicago and we both

currently reside in Las Vegas as far away from the Strip as possible. In our spare time,

when we have any, Mike is obsessed with salt water fish and we have a pretty sweet

fish tank set-up in our home. Courtney pretty much sits around catching up on DVR’d

television and hanging out with our dogs. Basically, we are your average, awesome,

everyday wedded couple but we are not traditional photographers. We enjoy the odd,

crazy or even controversial on a wedding day. We strongly support gay marriage and

cannot wait for the day that it will be legal in Nevada.

Our Style & Our Couples

We are all about untraditional, tattooed, crazy, fun, colorful, rock n’ roll, alternative,

rad couples.

We gel best with fellow couples that want to have a good time on their wedding

day. The majority of our couples tend to stay in contact post wedding and we develop

fairly good friendships with them because we like them too much to let them go. If you

can laugh at your own jokes, dish out sarcasm and the words bride or groomzilla are not a

part of your vocab, then we are the right fit for you.

As far as our shooting style goes, it consists of candids, posed and details.

(Shocking, huh?) We are not 100% photojournalists but we are far from studio shooters

where every photo we take is posed and fake. We like the moments to be about you

two and your day together. Make sure to take a thorough look through our blog. We love

dramatics. Bright lights, bold colors and making you laugh are all part of the kick ass Mike

L. photo experience. (Yes. We said experience.) We keep things real and if you happen to

do something hilarious during the wedding, odds are good that Courtney will blog it. It is

E-session

We HIGHLY recommend an Engagement Session. They are a great way to get a lit-

tle more comfortable in front of the camera and we get a chance to know you before the

big day. We make this session all about you. You could cover each other in colored flour or

bring along your dog for a photo of the whole family…or both. We have shot some love-

sick zombies, collectible scooters in the desert or even munching on a giant burger in the

middle of a burger joint. You pick, we shoot.

Vegas E-session - $650

Non-Vegas E-session - $1300+**

Trash the Dress

TTD shoots are by far our most favorite to shoot! We have done paint, holi

powder, water, mud and even cupcakes. We do not use the words, “trash the dress”

lightly. If we are going to do it, we are going to go all out. These tend to be the sessions

our brides get the most excited about. Talk about a way to relieve some post-wedding

stress. Nothing better than looking your new husband or wife in the face and then

pounding them with cake. Best. Day. Ever.

TTD session - $650

Custom Albums

Picture books! They just happen to be everyone’s favorite and if you want to talk

about a love story, whose could possibly be better than your own? We offer all different

types of albums to fit what you are looking for. Some of our options include the choice

of a leather, fabric or photo cover with the always popular thick, archival pages to put

on proud display in your home. We also offer the more travel friendly linen option with

thinner pages with more of a storybook quality to it. All options are layflat with a near

invisible seam and are extremely durable. They come in a variety of colors and sizes to fit

any couple’s style. All albums are custom designed by us, but the photos are chosen by

you. Albums are just another way to show off your freaking sweet wedding day!

FAQs

We compiled the most asked questions from our couples and put them here. But by all

means, please feel free to ask some more!

Who will be the photographer for my wedding?Mike and Courtney shoot every single wedding that we book; together. If by some crazy chance in

hell that one of us is dying and cannot attend, which seriously, we would have to be dying, then

we have a few sufficient backups that we trust to accompany one of us to the wedding. This has

yet to happen since both of us are still alive and well and we plan to be around for a long time.

What’s the dealio with tattoos?First off, we just think they are bad ass. I mean, seriously every tattoo has a story. Even if it was

just a, “I was drunk and got this seahorse tramp stamp.” It is a story and we love to hear it. We

also find that tattooed couples are more laid back. They tend to find ways to make their day

creative and about them and their friends. We both have tattoos and think we are pretty laid back.

Wow...stereotype much? Haha. This is also why we offer the discount. We are always looking for

new, unique locations and wedding concepts. New things excite us.

Will you shoot my same-sex wedding?YES! We very much support same-sex marriage and have shot a couple same-sex weddings. These

are some of our absolute favorite weddings that we have ever done. Mostly because the wedding

is about so much more than just the plain ol’ marriage...it is about LOVE and coming together as

one and making it official. We love them, so yes, yes, yes we will shoot your same-sex wedding.

Do you travel?YES! We love to travel and enjoy nothing more than shooting a wedding in a new, fresh location.

Frequent locales for us are Chicago, Northern and Southern California and Northern Nevada. We

will go anywhere though and will jump at the opportunity. Please, take us away!

Are you insured?Yes, we are. Some venues require this and we are happy to provide this when needed.

Do we receive all of the photos that you take? Can I have the RAW files?No. We deliver the best of the best when delivering your gallery. The only photos that we do not

include are test shots, out of focus, eyes closed or bad exposure. We strongly believe in quality

over quantity. All of the photos you receive will be print ready. As for the RAW files, we do not

release them. These are our only proof of ownership of the photos. And while you receive the print

rights, we keep all copyright to our photos.

You don’t live where I live but I would like to meet you…So let’s do it! If we have travel arrangements already made to where you live, we would love to

set up a meeting. If not, then let’s Skype! We offer free Skype meetings at any time. We could

even have coffee together, just make sure you have yours at the ready once the connection has

been made. :) We can also set up phone consults or Facetime if you have an iPhone. We are super

flexible so we will do whatever is easiest and most comfortable for you.

How do I book you?Yay! We do everything online using a great system called ShootQ. We will generate a contract

with all of your info and send it your way. We require an $800 retainer for Vegas weddings and

the signed contract to save your date. Following the booking, you will receive a personal log-in for

ShootQ so you have the ability to view your information and update it as necessary or to make

payments. We also divide your payments into three, since it tends to make it easier instead of

requiring two large payments.

High Resolution Digital FilesYes, you read that right. We include all edited, high resolution images on a sweet, custom USB

thumb drive for all of our weddings. With Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest dominating, it doesn’t

make sense to include prints in a package anymore. That’s why you get the option to print out

your favorites with the print release we include. We also include a list of our favorite professional

labs so you can have the same quality photos as we would provide if you choose to order through

us. High res pics are just one more thing that we offer because we don’t think you deserve any

less!
