4002FILL-NPSH/4002FILL-NHT Backpack Fill Station The Scotty 4002FILL provides a quick and easy method to refill water-carrying backpacks. Just insert between any 1-½” outlet and hose to allow a single-handed quick connect to the ¾” GHT fitting on the pick up hose of any Backpack. The system consists of a 1-½” Water Thief Tee, Double Female Connector (for connection to NHT or NPSH pump outlet), Thread Changer (for connection to NHT hose), 4 foot Hose and Quick Connect shut-off.

4045A-30 "Roll & Foam" Mobile Foam Attack SystemThe Scotty 4045A-30 Roll & Foam Mobile Foam Attack System is a self-contained unit that can transform any pressurized fire hose, water supply line or stand pipe into a fire fighting foam generating station. An average person can roll the unit to a pressurized water source near a fire scene even when the tank is filled to capacity with fire fighting foam concentrate (foam concentrate not included). By following the instructions on the top of the tank, the user can deploy, the system and spray foam in under a minute.

The Scotty 4045-30 Roll & Foam can be installed in an accessible area and quickly deployed in case of an emergency. The unit can be used in industrial sites, installations, warehouse and storage facilities, schools, shopping malls. For marinas, harbors or aircraft hangars. The 4045A-30 can be configured for Class B.

The system consists of a wheeled supply tank with a 14 gallon capacity, a 50-foot length of flat hose, a 30gpm Scotty Foam Eductor factory set for either 1% for Class A foam (4045A-30) or 3% for Class B foam (4045B-30), a matching Air Aspirat-ing Foam Nozzle and a D-Handle, Pistol Grip Shut-Off with swivel connector. The eductor is designed for a nominal operating pressure of between 50 and 100psi. The supply tank must be filled with foam concentrate prior to deployment. The threads on the swivel connector on the Eductor are standard 1-1/2” NPSH thread type. The user must confirm thread type compatibility between the unit and the wa-ter supply prior to installation. A fire crew can arrive at an incident where a quick layer of foam is required, such as a spill or haz-mat situation, attach a supply hose, place it where the foam is needed and adjust the water flow for the desired foam. Depending on pressure and flow, the Foam Factory can make “wet” or “dry” foam. The unit can be left unattended to create a blanket of foam over a very large area.

The system consists of a 15gpm Scotty Foam Eductor set for either 1% for Class A foam or 3% for Class B foam, a Straight Stream-Fog Nozzle, a D-Handle Shut-Off with swivel connector mounted on a 70mm cap and a pick-up tube for a 5 gallon pail. 4010-3Foam-Fast™ ¾” Foam ApplicatorThe Scotty 4010-3 is the most simple and effective method of deploying a foam surfactant/wetting agent onto a fire scene from a ¾” garden hose. Professional firefighters use foam surfactants in their water to lower the water’s surface tension, allowing it to spread and penetrate much more easily. To operate, simply open the inlet side of the mixing chamber, insert a foam cartridge, reseal the inlet end cap, attach to a ¾” garden hose and spray foam. The 4010-3 will flow water at a rate of 3 gpm (12 l/m) when attached to a standard ¾” garden hose line. The Scotty 4010 Foam Cartridges are 100% biodegradable, non toxic and are available separately. Each 6” cartridge will last just under 1 hour at pressures between 50 and 70 psi. The 4010-3 is recommended for use with water pressures between 35 psi and 85 psi (the higher the pressure, the greater the reach of stream)

4010-MINIFoam-Fast™ MiniThe Scotty 4010-MINI Foam-FastTM unit is a kit used to convert a Scotty 4000 Water Hand Pump, or any hand pump with ¾” garden hose threads, into a hand pump capable of generating a foam surfactant/wetting agent. When installed on a hand pump, the 4010-MINI, works by diluting a solid foam cartridge into the water flowing through the pump. The foam/water solution then passes through the patented Scotty 4003 Air-Aspirating Foam Nozzle producing low expansion foam. Each 4010-MINI Foam-FastTM unit comes with six foam cartridges. Each 3” long foam cartridge will continue to produce foam through four re-fillings of a standard 5 gallon backpack. The foam cartridges are 100% biodegradable and contain no toxic materials.

4071 Scotty “Through-the-Pump” Foam Eductor/MixerThe 4071 Foam Eductor/Mixer is a very simple unit used to educt foam concentrate into hose lines. It is mounted between the discharge and suction side of a pump (see diagram below). For use on portable forestry pumps or fitted permanently to skid units, the 4071 is a simple and effective way for fire fighters to add a foam capability to their equipment.

The unit is adjustable, permitting foam percentages of 0.1 to 1.25% to be educted at flow rates of 15gpm to 150gpm. A 4071 includes the eductor, pressure hose and pick-up hose. A 4071KIT includes the eductor, pressure hose, pick-up hose and two connecting aluminum tees: a 1-½” and a 2”.

4070FoamCheck Pro Foam Concentrate MeterThe Scotty 4070 "FoamCheck Pro" is a device for obtaining real-time measurement of the percentage of foam concentrate in fire fighting hose lines. The user simply runs fresh water through the Sensor Tee (after mounting it on the discharge side of the pump) while pressing the "Zero" button on the Display Console for five seconds. Then set the pump's foam proportioner (such as the Scotty 4071) to 1% and flow foam/water solution while holding the "Cal" for five seconds. The Console is now ready to display the real-time measurement of foam concentration flowing through the Sensor Tee.

The Scotty 4070 FoamCheck Pro consists of the Display Console (5.7" x 3.8" x 2.3"), a 1-½" Sensor Tee with either NHT or NPSH threads and a 5' long cable for connection to the Display Console. The FoamCheck Pro is self-powered by 2 AA batteries, which are included, but not installed at time of shipping. The maximum recommended operating pressure for the 4070 FoamCheck Pro is 200 psi.

The FoamCheck Pro also has a "Limit" function that will activate and close a 12 volt solenoid valve for the foam concentrate supply if the foam percentage goes above a set limit. Utilizing the "Limit" feature requires the add-on purchase of a Scotty 4070-FoamValve control unit.

4060Foam EductorsScotty 4060 Foam Eductors fit 1-½" hose lines and are manufactured in five flow rates; 15, 30, 50, 70 and 95 gpm. They are designed to be matched with Scotty Air Aspirating Nozzles of the same flow rate. The standard eductor is factory set for a fixed 1% eduction ratio. Eductors are available, upon request, for a .5% or 3% eduction ratio.All eductors will generate 30 inches of vacuum at pressures as low as 30 psi, making the Scotty eductors extremely efficient. Mounted as an in-line eductor on a pump the 4060 is restricted to a maximum hose length of 150 feet. With a foam pail or backpack supplying the foam concentrate, the 4060 Eductor can be mounted to the end of a fire hose.

To adjust the amount of foam solution to be educted, the 4060 can also be fitted with a 4064 or 4065 Variable Percentage Checkvalve (see below), with settings of: OFF, .5%, 1% and 3%. These units must be matched to the flow rate of the eductor.

4006"Pincher" Dual Pattern NozzleThe Scotty 4006 “Pincher” Nozzle is a flexible tipped nozzle that the user can simply squeeze between the fingers to change the spray pattern from a straight stream to a fan or slot pattern. The “Pincher” Nozzle is manufactured from glass-reinforced, engineering grade polymers. Using this material makes the Scotty 4006 very lightweight, extremely durable and absolutely corrosion proof. The nozzle can be used with Class A or Class B foams, but is not designed to generate the type of bubble structure typical of our air-aspirating foam nozzles. The 4066 Nozzle comes with 1.5” Female NPSH threads or NHT threads (4006A). The 4006 and 4006A also comes with a stream straightener to decrease flow turbulence and increase the reach of stream. 4048 Mini MonitorThe Scotty 4048 is a “Mini Monitor" system that can be temporarily or permanently mounted virtually anywhere. The system consists of a mount (can be top or side mounted), a 10” high Swivel Post and Tube Bracket, a 4080 Pistol Grip Shut-Off and either a Foam Tube Nozzle, a Fog/stream Nozzle or Smooth Bore Nozzle. The unit will swivel 360º and tilt up 75º and down 80º from the horizontal. The unit can be locked in one of seven different angles by tightening the included lock knob.

4056 Scotty Squall Wall™The Scotty 4056 is an easy to use device that creates a wall of water to help cool and protect structures. When connected to a water supply hose the angled ramp within the unit directs the water flow up through the opening vent. Depending on flow and pressure, the Squall Wall can create a wall of water up to 40 feet wide and 20 feet high. 4579 Super Spanner Hydrant WrenchThe Scotty 4579 Super Spanner and Gas Wrench is a durable, lightweight wrench used to tighten and loosen larger size fire hose couplers. Designed for use on swivel hose fittings and anvil lug couplers ranging from 3” (76mm) up to 7” (178mm) hose lines and most Stortz fittings. The 4579 Wrench can also be used to operate standard 1-½” and 1-¼” pentagon fire hydrant nuts. The tool will also open standard 70mm caps on 5 gallon foam concentrate pails and the large and small threaded plugs on 55 gallon drums. In addition there are two different sized slots incorporated into the wrench handle for use as a gas cock shut off. The wrench is spark and corrosion proof and includes a quick snap belt clip.

4580Wrench BracketThe Scotty 4580 Mounting Bracket enables a Scotty 4578 Drum & Pail or a Scotty 4579 Super Spanner to be secured in place on a wall or in a cabinet, etc. The Bracket can be fastened vertically, horizontally or at virtually any angle. 4550 Pillow TanksThe Scotty 4550 Pillow Tanks are rugged, industrial grade products designed to carry and store water for use at fire scenes and incident sites. They are available in three different capacities of 250 Litres (66 US gal), 500 Litres (132 US gal) and 1000 Litres (264 US gal). Made from fabric reinforced materials, the tanks come complete with a 2” NPSH ball valve, removable 5-½” wide cap, fastened corner brackets for tie downs and a Puncture Repair kit. Not approved for potable water.

4044 “Revolver” Multi-flow NozzleThe 4044 “Revolver” Nozzle is Scotty’s unique answer for the need of a multi-aperature field nozzle. The 4044 can be set on one of four different flow rates, three in a straight stream mode and one in a fan pattern. The pre-set flow rates are 3, 6, 10 and 12gpm. The flow rate is easily changed by rotating the outer barrel to the desired setting. The entire Nozzle is made from glass-reinforced, engineering grade polymer making it light-weight, extremely durable and corrosion proof. The nozzle can be used with Class A or Class B foams, but is not designed to generate the type of bubble structure typical of our air-aspirating foam nozzles. The 4044 Nozzle comes with 1-½” male NPSH threads on the nozzle body.
