WHAT EVIL IS HE TALKING ABOUT?

•SATAN

1 John 5:18 ...the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.

19 We know that we are children of

God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

•THE WORLD

Galatians 1:4 ...the Lord Jesus Christ who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

•OUR HEARTS

Matthew 12:35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him,

and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

WHAT KINDS OF SCHEMES DOES SATAN USE?

2 Corinthians 2:11 ... in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

WHAT IS OUR ROLE IN DEALING WITH EVIL?

6. DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD OR THE THINGS IN THE WORLD

of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.

17 And the world passes away, and

7. SET YOUR AFFECTION ON THINGS ABOVE

Colossians 3:1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
