GENERAL INFORMATION, RULES AND REGULATIONSCONDITIONS OF COMPETITIONEvery class offered herein which is covered by the Rules and Specifications of the current USEF Rule Book will be conducted inaccordance therewith.

Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitionsat the Preliminary Level or above andCombined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and VaultingCompetitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider,driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer atRegular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions uponpayment of a $30 nonmember registration fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1)leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and academy classes (academy classes are classeslimited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHAEndorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membershipin good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage SportHorse Breeding classes.

Federation Entry Agreement:By entering a Federation-licensed Competition and signing this entry blank as the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager, Agent, Coach,Driver, Rider, Handler, Vaulter or Longeur and on behalf of myself and my principals, representatives, employees and agents, I agreethat I am subject to the Bylaws and Rules of The United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (the “Federation”) and the local rules ofCompetition. I agree to be bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the Federation and of the competition. I will accept as final the decision ofthe Hearing Committee on any question arising under the Rules, and agree to release and hold harmless the competition, the Federation,their officials, directors and employees for any action taken under the Rules. I represent that I am eligible to enter and/or participateunder the Rules, and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptanceof entry, the Federation and/or the Competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cable - casts, broadcasts, internet, film,new media or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion, cove age or benefit ofthe competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such away as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use,including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application ofFederation rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any action instituted against the Federation must be filed inNew York State. See GR908.4.

In all classes wherein the rules of USEF do not apply, Management shall settle any dispute or question that may arise and its decisionshall be final. Exhibitors and other participants herein, as a condition to admission, consent to such method of settlement.MANAGEMENT reserves the right to refuse, accept conditionally and to cancel any entries, disqualify exhibitors, prohibit exhibition ofentries and cancel awards of prizes, without claim for damages. MANAGEMENT reserves the right to reschedule, combine, close, delete,or add any classes or change the listed officials as may be necessary and in the best interests of the show.Neither the show committee/staff, the show, EQUESTRIAN SPORT PRODUCTIONS, LLC, WELLINGTON EQUESTRIAN PARTNERS, LLC,LITTLEWOOD FENCES, INC., STALL WATCH, Palm Beach Holdings, Inc, the show manager, the show sponsors, any show officials, norany sanctioning body will be responsible for any accident, damage, loss or injury to mount, owner, rider or other persons or property.MANAGEMENT reserves the right to modify any policy or rules set forth in the prize list in an emergency situation which may requiremodification or restrictions for the welfare of the horse or rider.NON-MEMBER FEES AND HORSE REGISTRATIONFor those exhibitors who are not current members of the USEF and USHJA a $30 fee per organization will be added to each entry. Inaddition each horse regardless of whether the owner is a current member of the USEF or USHJA must pay a $30 horse registration fee tothe USHJA. Forms will be available in the office. You can go to www.ushja.org for more information. Those exempt from these fees arelisted in GR901.9 1-9.

OPPORTUNITY CLASSESAll Opportunity classes will be held in accordance with GR821. Riders/drivers/handlers entered only in these classes are exempt fromthe Federation membership requirements and are not required to pay a non-member fee but are required to list the Federationmembership number if the participant is a member.

ENTRY PROCEDURE1. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN U.S. FUNDS.2. The following fees must accompany the entry form for each show entered. Stall and/or non-stabling fees & nomination fees3. Entries not accompanied by the fees shown above will be considered POST.4. Entries will no class numbers on them will be considered POST5. Entries postmarked and/or submitted after the closing date will be POST and and must be accompanied by a $25 post entry fee

per horse.6. Entry fees or open blank check or credit card number should be sent with the entry blank.7. Back numbers will not be given out without a SIGNED OPEN CHECK or signed Credit Card Authorization Form or each show

submitted to the Horse Show Secretary.8. Numbers will not be given out until entries have been submitted to the show AND OWNERS, RIDERS AND COACHES OR

TRAINERS HAVE SIGNED ALL ENTRY BLANKS.9. A number will be assigned each horse/rider combination and will stand for the entire show series.10. Entries with incorrect numbers may be excused from the ring.11. All accounts must be settled after each show. Open Checks will be filled in 24 hours after the show

POST ENTRIESPost entries will be accepted up to two classes before any scheduled class that is not full unless otherwise indicated. Entries postmarked and/or sub-mitted after the closing date will be Post. Entries not adhering to the entry procedure above will be post and will pay a $25 post fee. Post entries aremeant to be a deterrent to being late. They are not just a way for the show to make money.

PRIZE MONEYPrize money will be credited to the entry's show account after the results of the class winnings are posted or a check will be mailed to the owner atthe address on the entry blank within thirty days after the show, thereby ending the show's responsibility. Any class that has a number of entriesrequired, will have the payout based on the number of on time entries and post entries will not be included in the number used to determine the pay-out. Classes that do not have enough entries to pay out prize money will either be cancelled, or run without prize money at the exhibitors option. Anyclass with less than 4 entries will not pay prize money and entry fee will be as listed.

CANCELLATION OF CLASSESManagement will not refund entry fees if classes are cancelled due to severe weather, an emergency or some other act of god. If the entire showis cancelled due to severe weather or an emergency, management will refund those class fees.

NON-MEMBER FEES AND HORSE REGISTRATIONFor those exhibitors who are not current members of the USEF and USHJA a $30 fee per organization will be added to each entry. In addition eachhorse regardless of whether the owner is a current member of the USEF or USHJA must pay a $30 horse registration fee to the USHJA. Forms willbe available in the office. You can go to www.ushja.org for more information. (Exception: USEF Opportunity and Academy Classes)

CHANGES BEFORE NUMBER IS ISSUEDPLEASE FILL OUT ENTRY BLANK CAREFULLY AND CORRECTLY. Changes in classes, horse and/or rider will be allowed without penalty prior tothe number being issued. Once the number is issued the normal rules for scratches and/or adds will apply.

SCRATCHESAll Scratches must be done in the show office on the official form, by letter, or by fax and must be received as outlined below.All scratches except for class scratches noted below will be charged a $25 processing fee.SHOW SCRATCHES for the entire show will be accepted, if submitted to the show office no later than the day before the first class of the show, willbe charged a $25 processing fee.DIVISION SCRATCHES for full Divisions will be accepted if submitted to the show office no later than the day before the first class of that division,will be charged a $25 processing fee.CLASS SCRATCHES will be accepted if submitted to the show office no later than the day before the class for a fee of $10 per class. Scratches toindividual classes in “A” rated divisions will not be allowed. SCRATCHES AFTER AN ORDER OF GO IS POSTED WILL RECEIVE NO REFUND.THERE WILL BE NO CREDIT FOR SAME DAY SCRATCHES.VET SCRATCH: Accepted if a horse is injured or becomes ill prior to the class or classes entered. The entry fee in this case will be refunded lessthe process fee, upon the receipt of a certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian and presented to the show office no later than two classes beforethe scheduled class. Only certificates signed by the official show veterinarian will be accepted after the starting of the first class of the show, will becharged a $25 processing fee.NOMINATION, STALL, PADDOCK, GROUNDS, & PRACTICE RING FEES will not be refunded under any circumstances.

ADDSAll Adds must be done in the show office on the official form, by letter, or by fax and must be received prior to the start of the class., and MUST beacknowledged by the office. Class adds will be charged $5 plus the original entry fee if adding the day of the class. There will be NO additional feefor adding PRIOR to the day of the class. Day adds will be placed at the top of the order of go. All adds will be on a standby basis and will beaccepted based on the amount of time available after all class entries are calculated.

FOUND SHOWING IN CLASS NOT ENTEREDAny exhibitor found showing in any class in which he/she has not been entered will be disqualified from that class, fined $25.00 plus the post entryfee and suspended from the rest of the show until the fine and entry fees are paid.

OFFICE FEEEach horse will be charged a $25 fee per horse show.

NON-NEGOTIABLE FUNDSAny non negotiable funds will be charged a $100.00 process fee per occurrence plus up to 1.5% interest per month. This will include declinedcredit cards and returned checks.

DRUGS AND MEDICATIONSCurrent USEF Rules relating to drugs and medications will be enforced. A payment of $16.00($8.00 drug & med., $8 USEF fee) for each horseentered should be included with entry fee. Exception: Holiday and Horses Horse show will pay a $15.00 fee.

MEASUREMENT AND AMATEUR CERTIFICATIONAll exhibitors in the Junior Hunter, Pony Hunter or any Amateur sections must present their Measurement Card/Amateur Certification to the SecretaryBEFORE numbers may be picked up. Amateur Owners and Adult Amateurs must list their age on entry blank. All Junior and Pony Hunters that donot possess a current card/form will be measured at 8:30 a.m. each show day provided that the veterinarian is on the show grounds and not “oncall”. If the veterinarian is “on call” the measurement time will be between 8:30 A.M. and 9:30 A.M. on Saturday morning. Any changes to themeasuring schedule will be posted in the horse show office. Those needing to be measured must be there at the appointed time or they will needto make arrangements with the horse show veterinarian and will be responsible for paying his/her fees. Ponies shown in the rated Regular & GreenPony Hunter sections may not be shown by an adult at this show.

GROUNDS FEEAll NON-STABLING entries will be charged a grounds fee of $25.00. This charge will be automatic to any horse or pony that is not paying a stallfee to the show. Exception will be allowed for any Leadline Entry or Walk-Trot Entry.

STALLSStall reservations and payments are due no later than one week prior to show. If reservations are made and paid for using our online system athttp://esp.showgroundslive.com one week before the start of the show you will be eligible to receive a $30 discount per stall.There are NO REFUNDS and NO TRANSFERS on stabling discounts.Stabling will be $225 per “AA” show, $115 per “A” show, and $85 per “C” show. Post stalls if available will be an extra $15. Entry is required withstall reservation. If stabling with others during this time period, you will be charged a $25.00 grounds fee per show. Stalls will be ready noon theday before the show unless previous arrangements have been made. Stalls are either permanent wood structure with doors and are 9.5 x 9.5 orcanvas under tent and are 9 x 9 with doors and will be assigned as entries accompanied by stall fees are received. On a first come, first serve basis.Stalls are limited and fees must accompany entry to insure reservations. First bedding is not included. Bedding will be available on the grounds ona pre-order basis. All trash is to be placed in the receptacles provided/ not in the manure bins. All manure is to be put in the area provided. All abovefees are plus 6 % sales tax.

BILLING DISPUTESAny open invoices will be closed by office staff at the end of the show with the method of payment holding the entry. It is the exhibitorsresponsibility to review their bill and resolve any discrepancies within one hour of the show ending. If disputes are not negotiated within this timeframe the bill will stand as is without any further review.

COMPORTMENTExhibitors are notified that any act of discourtesy or disobedience to the Judges or Officials on the part of any owner, rider, trainer,family member, or groom may disqualify the horse and the owner will forfeit all entry and other fees.

SCHOOLING FEESAmple schooling fences will be provided in designated schooling areas. Schooling areas have an all weather sandy soil footing. There will beorganized schooling in the rings at the rate of $20.00 per timed session from 12:00 NOON till 5:00 P.M. the day before the first competition day andat other times as designated by management. The schooling area footing has been designed for longevity between watering & maintenance drags.It is not designed for sharp turns or lungeing. ATTIREHard hats must be worn by all Junior exhibitors while mounted anywhere on the grounds. All Senior Members must wear a hard hat when jumping.ASTM/SEI approved helmets must be worn by all riders in hunter, hunter seat equitation, jumper classes and while schooling over fences and wherejumping is required; USEF GR801. In Equitation classes riders may not wear hard hats with additional adornments. Riders must wear coats in allclasses unless otherwise announced. Junior exhibitors are reminded that regulation hard hats are required at all times when mounted and must bebuckled. Proper riding attire is required: boots, breeches, riding jacket, shirt with choker or tie.

BACK NUMBERSYou MUST wear the back number provided by the show unless prior arrangements have been made. ie. lost number etc. European bridle orbreastplate numbers will not be accepted as the only form of a number. If you fail to have your show issued number on your back or pinned to yoursaddle pad in plain view you may be eliminated from your class. Any participant using our online entry system, still needs to come to the show officeand sign their entry blank and obtain a show issued number.

COMPETITION FEESFor every horse participating in any competition licensed by the Federation, a $16 Federation fee (12-1-2011) will be collected ($8 shall be an EquineDrugs and Medication fee to provide for research, inspection, and enforcement of rules regarding use of medications and drugs; see GR407.1, .2and .3). Since Comp. #269388 falls in the 2011 Competition year the USEF Fee will be $15 and the FEI Fee will remain $23. Exception: Horsesentered in classes exempted from the Equine Drugs and Medication fee are also exempt from the balance of the Federation fee. A $2.00 ZoneSupport Fee per horse entered. $23 will be charged for each horse competing in FEI competitions. An IHP fee of $35 will be charged to each horseshowing in any Computer Ranked Grand Prix.

JUMP ORDERIn all classes over fences management MAY designate the order of go. All orders will be posted by each ring 30 minutes before the class and theone minute rule will be in effect. Riders that foresee conflicts must communicate with the paddock masters involved - don’t rely on radio contactonly! Riders are forewarned that the show will not be held up because of trainer conflicts. After order of go in any class is posted there will be norefunds allowed. Jumper classes with a posted order of go will use the following procedure in accordance with JP112.2: the horses names are drawnindividually, starting from the first position and then working down

POLINGWe do not allow any sort of manual poling or poling of any type on the competitions show grounds.

EQUINE ZERO LIABILITYFLORIDA SENATE BILL 1658 EQUINE ZERO LIABILITY STATUE: Warning-Under Florida Law an equine activity sponsor or equine professional isnot liable for injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risk of equine activities.

MEDICAL WASTE & SHARPSIn accordance with the 1989 Federal Waste Tracking Act which restricts the disposal of medical waste, Bio Hazardous Medical Waste Containerswill be provided in the stable area. All exhibitors and their agents are responsible for the proper disposal of this waste. Sharps will be placed in sharpcontainers provided. Anyone found discarding sharps in any other manner will be fined up to $250 per instance and held responsible for any finesor expenses incurred by management. Violations to this rule will be dealt with very seriously. Improper disposal of sharps poses a serious healththreat to anyone who may come in contact with it. Please make sure that anyone who handles these sharps on your behalf are aware of theresponsibility involved. Neither ignorance or language will excuse fine enforcement. If you need additional containers or any assistance with thedisposal of sharps, please ask the office or a member of the staff. Thank you for your cooperation.

DOGSDogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on aleash while mounted. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warningcards. GR1301.6 Any dog that is found loose will be detained by the show until a fine is paid. Any dog that disrupts an exhibitor’s round will berequired to pay the exhibitor for that round plus a $100 fine to the show. Also, please dispose of all dog waste in the proper containers.

FEED & BEDDINGFeed & Bedding will be available by Gold Coast Feed (561-793-4607). No other feed or bedding vendor will be permitted on the show grounds dueto insurance & liability requirements of master lease, without the express permission of management. Exhibitors wishing to use another vendor doso at their own risk and must receive permission for that vendor to come on the grounds. Proof of insurance and licenses will be required beforepermission is granted. Permit fees will apply. No outside deliveries will be allowed between 8:00 AM- 6:00 PM. Storage of feed, bedding, hay, etc.must be within the stall space only. No straw will be allowed without a charge for its separate removal and waste storage.

HORSE SHOW FARRIERNo farrier other than the official horse show farrier(s) will be permitted to shoe on the grounds without the express permission of facility management.Exhibitors wishing to use another farrier must request a permit for that farrier. Proof of insurance and licenses will be required before permission isgranted. Permit fees will apply.

GOLF CARTS, SCOOTERS & OTHER VEHICLESMinors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permittedto operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters or farm utility vehicles, on the competitiongrounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as theyare accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent orguardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resultingfrom that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competitiongrounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairsand other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.

COMBINING & SPLITTING SECTIONSSections that are scheduled as split sections will be combined if there are less than four (4) entries in either section unless the section is fullysponsored. If you are interested in sponsorship contact show management the day before the section is started to avoid last minute changes. Theshow will be in compliance of HU 116 and HU 112-118.

CHAMPION AND RESERVEChampion and Reserve Champion will be awarded in all Hunter Sections. The awards will be made to two of the four horses that have acquired themost points in the over fences classes. In addition to these points, only those four horses shall receive full points for ribbons won in the Under SaddleClass. Points will be awarded on the basis of 10,6,4,2,1,l/2 for lst, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th places respectively. All classes are full point classes,except MODEL classes which are l/2 point classes. Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded in all Jumper sections on the basis of pointsin accordance with JP110.2.a Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded in the Equitation Sectio1 and ns in accordance with EQ112.15.awith the top two riders with the most points being eligible. Champions will receive a prize certificate to be redeemed in the show office.

PROTESTAny exhibitor lodging a protest must first deposit $200.00 for USEF Members or $300 for Non-Members with the Show Secretary, or Steward whichsum will be forfeited to the show if the same is not sustained. All protests must be addressed to the Show Secretary or Steward and made in writing,signed by the protester, and filed with the Show Secretary, Show Manager or Show Steward within 48 hours. Funds must be payable to USEF.Protests may also be files with the Federation Hearing Committee as outlined in GR603.1.

Recommended Equine Health InformationIt is recommended that all horses stabling on the PBIEC grounds arrive between 8:00 am and 5:00 PM. If it is necessary to arrive at anyother time you must make arrangements with the show office prior to arrival. 561-793-5867.ESP,LLC management strives to provide an excellent showing environment. An integral part of an excellent showing environmentincludes healthy horses. Exhibitors, especially those traveling long distances, can contribute to that healthy environment by followingsome basic recommendations listed below. Please monitor our web site at www.equestriansport.com for any additional and possiblymandatory requirements.1) A current negative coggins test. Please renew before it expires, and not just before it is necessary to leave the state. It is stronglyrecommended that all horses be vaccinated for Equine EHV-1 (either modified live or killed vaccine) no sooner than 7 days prior and nolater than 90 days prior to entering the show grounds. Most EHV-1 vaccines are only considered effective for 90 days. Check with yourveterinarian about which vaccine you use.2) A current health certificate is required for all out of state horses. A current health certificate is suggested for local horses. All horsesshould be able to produce proof of vaccine, preferably labeled on these health certificates.3) You should be able to document your horses normal temperature before arrival. Please do not ship horses with elevated temperatures.It is recommended that you establish a log of temperatures taken at least twice daily. If there is an elevated temperature for more thana 24 hour period, please consult your local Veterinarian immediately.4) Every effort should be made to minimize stress and commingling of horses shipped long distances. Extra hours on a horse van, ormoving from stable to stable is the fastest way to compromise your horses' and your neighbors horses' health.5) Any horse on the show grounds with a fever of unknown origin or of suspicious origin must be reported to ESP, LLC Management. Itis always better to err on the side safety. Isolation stalls will either be available on the grounds or at a local veterinary practice if theneed arises.6) Please take the time to review equine good hygiene practices and impress its importance to your groom in everyday care.

Bonus points for Zone Horse of the Year Awards will be awarded as follows: 1st - 35, 2nd - 30, 3rd - 25, 4th - 20, 5th - 15, 6th - 10, 7th - 6, 8th – 5;2.) Entries may be jogged at management’s discretion;3.) Riders are not required to wear formal attire;4) $500 in money is required. Exception Children’s Hunter Pony.5.) The second round of the Classic must not be a part of a Hunter section. Each round of a Classic is to count 50%. Classics may be combined.

Children's/Adult Amateur Jumper:Open to horses and ponies. The combination horse/rider and rider are not eligible to compete in any jumper class above 1.15m (3’9”) at the same show. Oncea horse/rider combination has competed over 1.15m (3’9”), the same horse/rider combination cannot show in a Children/Adult Jumper Classic offering $2,500 ormore for 30 days. A rider may show only one additional horse in the Children’s/Adult Amateur Jumper division in addition to those horses owned or USEF leasedby the rider. Fences at 1.10m or 3’6” to 1.15m (3’9”).

Low Children’s Jumper:Open to junior riders. Riders in Low Children’s Jumper may not cross enter into any classes held above 1.15m (3'9”) at the same show. Horse/rider combinationsmay cross enter into the High Children’s Jumpers at the same show, but not on the same day as showing in Low Children’s Jumpers. Adult Amateur Hunter classes are for amateurs 18 years of age or older showing horses and/or ponies. To be judged on performance,soundness, manners, way of going, and suitability. The Adult Amateur Hunter section may be divided by age of rider and/or height offences. Adult Amateur Hunters are to be shown over fences at either 3' or 3'3". Riders in this section may enter any Equitation class. Riderswho compete in the Amateur Owner Hunter and/or Jumper classes may show other horses that they own in the Adult Amateur Hunters.Horses and ponies exhibiting in this section may cross enter multiple sections of Adult Amateur Hunter and any classes where eligible.Note: The horse may only be shown by one rider in the Adult Amateur Hunter Classic and that rider must be declared prior to the firstround of the Classic. Points for Zone Awards earned in a hunter classic will be awarded as follows: 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 6, 5. PONY HUNTER DIVISIONClasses limited to ponies 14.2 hands and under, and riders who have not yet reached their l8th birthday. Entries must be handled by Junior Exhibitors inall phases of a class. No pony may show in this division unless the owner possesses a current measurement card or valid measurement form issued by theUSEF and shown to the show secretary. Winners of twenty Talent Search Classes are no longer eligible to compete in the USEF SHOW JUMPING TALENTSEARCH CLASS, but may compete in the Finals until they reach their 21st birthday under Federation rules. Winners of the Finals may continue to competein the USEF SHOW JUMPING TALENT SEARCH CLASS, in pursuit of additional wins leading towards Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in recognition of thesewins, but may not compete in future Finals. Non-U.S. citizens may compete

If 50 or more entries are received three hours prior to the start of the class, the class must be divided equally and run as two separate classes. Competitorsmust use the same horse in both phases. Competitors may ride stallions. The jumping phase of the class shall be held first over a course of at least tenfences from 3’6” to 3’9” (1.10 - 1.15m.) in height with spreads to 5’ (1.50m.). Each course must contain no fewer than three fences set at 3’9” in height.The course must include a double and a triple combination, or 3 doubles. Additional spread fences are required elsewhere on the course. At "AA" ratedoutdoor competitions, a water-filled obstacle with a 10' (3.05m) to 12' (3.30m) spread (with an option) must be included. At all other rated competitions aliverpool is recommended. Time allowed will be figured at 360 yards per minute; may be timed either electronically or manually. To be judged on style andexecution. Time and jumping faults should be taken into consideration in the judge’s evaluation of the rider.

In the flat phase, not more than 30 riders at one time will show as a group at the working walk, the working trot sitting, the working trot rising, as well asshowing a lengthening of stride; the working canter, and the working canter showing a lengthening of stride. All riders being considered for an award shallbe required to show the working canter on the counter lead for at least one full revolution of the arena in both directions, but not more than 12 shallcounter canter at one time. Judges may require any additional tests. To be judged on rider’s position and seat and the correctness and effect of the aids.All riders must ride in the first phase offered. At least 20 riders, if available, or 50% of theentries, if that is a greater number, must be called back for thesecond phase. Rider participation in the first phase, whether it is the jumping phase or flat phase, constitutes entry into the class as a whole, regardless ofwhether the rider is called back for the second phase. To fill a class, SIX COMPETITORS MUST COMPLETE THE COURSE.

SADDLERY. 1. There are no restrictions on saddles. 2. Change of bridle is permissible, between phases. 3. Blinkers are forbidden. 4. No martingales of anykind are permitted in the flat phase. 5. Only running martingales used in the conventional manner are permitted in the jumping phase. Standingmartingales, draw reins, or restricted runningmartingales are prohibited. 6. Reins must be attached to the bit(s) or directly to the bridle. Gags andhackamores are not allowed in the flat phase.

Round 2: Handy Hunter Course- Top 25 to return. To be held April 2nd at approx. 7 pm in the International Arena- Fence height 3'6-4’0”- There must be four 4'0 - 4’3” fences in the course, set as option jumps- The course must have a minimum of 2 of the following options: trot jump, open gate while mounted, lead over a jump, tight turn option, clever options forjump approaches, halt and/or back, walk a jump- A minimum of 8 fences must be offered in the Handy Hunter Round- A minimum of 12 entries must return for Round 2, if available.

I. Jog: Saturday December 3rd between 8:00 am - 10:00 am in the FEI area.Two judges or one judge and a veterinarian must be present. All horses entered in the class must jog for soundness in order to be eligible to compete. In order to be considered for an award, a horse must be serviceably sound. Unsoundness during the competition will be reflected in the scores from the judges. (See USEF HU131 and GR 1033.7). After the jog all horses must remain on the Show Grounds. No off grounds Stabling willbe allowed.II. Round I Classic Hunter Course- December 4thIII. Round II: Handy Hunter Course- December 4th Top 25 horses to return for Round IIIV. Award Overall Top 12, all riders must ride for ribbons• Jump Off: In the case of a tie for first place, the horses and riders involved will be asked to perform another round over a shortened jump off course. The course diagrams for all three rounds must be posted a minimum of one half hour before the start of the class. For all other ties, one panel of judges will be designated the tie breaking panel. The total of this panel's scores from both Round 1 and Round 2 will be used to break any remaining ties.

THE FEI CODE OF CONDUCT

FOR THE WELFARE OF THE HORSEThe Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) expects all those involved in international equestrian sport to adhere to the FEIʼs Code of Conduct and to acknowledge andaccept that at all times the welfare of the horse must be paramount and must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences.

1. At all stages during the preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all other demands. This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery and tack, and transportation.

2. Horses and competitors must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete. This encompasses medication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and the misuse of aids.

3. Events must not prejudice horse welfare. This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces, weather conditions, stabling, site safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event.

4. Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention after they have competed and that they are treated humanely when their competition careers are over. This covers proper veterinary care, competition injuries, euthanasia and retirement.

5. The FEI urges all involved with the sport to attain the highest levels of education in their areas of expertise.

All countries in the Western Hemisphere except for: Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands. Horses may be imported into the United States provided they areaccompanied by a proper veterinary health certificate issued by a full-time veterinary officer of the National Government stating that the horses have: 1. Been in that country for 60 days immediately preceding importation. If the horses have not been in the country 60 days, they are to be accompanied by a like certificate

issued by a full-time salaried veterinary officer of the national government of each country in which the horses have been during the 60 days immediately precedingshipment to the United States.

2. Been inspected and found free of contagious diseases and insofar as can be determined exposure thereto during the 60 days immediately preceding exportation. 3. Not been vaccinated with a live, attenuated, or inactivated vaccine during the 14 days immediately preceding exportation. 4. Not been on premises where African horse sickness, dourine, glanders, surra, epizootic lymphangitis, ulcerative lymphangitis, equine piroplasmosis, equine infectious

anemia (EIA), contagious equine metritis (CEM), vesicular stomatitis, or Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis (VEE) has occurred during the 60 days immediatelypreceding exportation, nor have these diseases occurred on any adjoining premises during this same period of time.

5. Not been in a country where CEM is known to exist, nor have had any contact, breeding or otherwise, with horses from such a country, for the 12 months precedingexportation.

6. Been inspected and found to be free of ectoparasites. Horses presented for entry into the United States from countries that are not recognized by the USDA as being free from VEE or screwworm are required to bequarantined for a minimum of 7-days at the port of entry. Quarantine charges are $270.00 per day for each horse for days 1 through 3, and $195.00 for each horse fordays 4 through 7 (prices subject to change without prior notice.)
