– 2011-2012 Flyers Cup Hockey Champions– 2011-2012 placed second in the

Pennsylvania State Championship in Lacrosse

– 200 yard Freestyle Relay Team swam the fastest time in America (1.22.91) and was crowned as National Champions

– twelve students were named as High School All-Americans and captured 27 All-American Athletic Certifications in five different sports

– Teacher-Coach Model with twelve of the sixteen teams coached by teachers at La Salle and over forty teachers involved in La Salle’s athletic program

choral groups– Competition Band received superior ratings

in all five area jazz competitions in 2012– Outstanding Soloist Award was earned by

a La Salle musician at each competition– Two band concerts, two choral concerts,

– First school in the nation to fully implement Microsoft Exchange 2010

– TV production and broadcast studio with editing equipment and operating systems for live programs and taped productions

– Four computer labs with over 150 Nehalen i7 workstations, Windows 7 Desktops, and access to the complete Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus Package

– Multimedia Lab with over eighty workstations for student and faculty teaching and production, including scanners, laser printers, and CD/DVD Burners

– Outstanding library and media center with capability for thirty-four online reference programs

– Computer Lab Internship Program for qualified students who have achieved Microsoft certification(s)

– 93 students received certification during 2011-12 at what is the only Level One Microsoft IT Academy in the State of Pennsylvania

– All fifty-seven instructional areas ar equipped with a SMART Board, HD projection TV, DVD, and high-performance sound system

•MusicFacilities– La Salle’s excellent music facilities include

an ensemble practice room large enough to house our largest performing groups. A cho-ral room, space for instrumental instruction, multiple practice rooms, and a digital music lab round out a facility that can accom-modate the almost three hundred students involved in La Salle’s highly acclaimed music program.

•AthleticFacilities– La Salle has been blessed with extensive

athletic facilities, which include a main gym, auxiliary gym for wrestling and other athletic activities, a fitness center with a full-time Strength and Conditioning Instructor, an erg room for rowing, indoor and outdoor pools, six-lane track, five tennis courts, nine athletic fields, a walking trail, and a boathouse located on historic Boathouse Row.
