Once again, another year is drawing to a close and the Christmas season is upon us.

At this special time of year, I would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year.

I would ask that you join me in remembering the men and women of the Canadian Forces who are spending Christmas away from family and friends on our behalf. They make us proud and our prayers are with them.

I extend my warmest wishes for peace—peace in your hearts, peace in your families and peace within and among all the communities in my riding. From Buchans to Bonavista and every community in between, let us all celebrate this wonderful time of year.
