What prompted you to enrol in this course?

I new just enough about new media to know that there were some amazing teaching possibilities that I wasn't taking advantage of.

and a recognition that this is a powerful tool for reaching students and engaging them in learning.

I need to keep up to date with new technology as it provides a great opportunity to teach.

it is also a means to improve myself as technoLogy is advancing at a rapid pace and i feel it it essential for me to keep up to date.

What would make this course worthwhile for you?

Learning and knowing how to use at least 10 new Technologies effectively

Having a better understanding of what tools are available, having a better understanding of how to use the tools. eg I'm on twitter but would never dream of tweeting anything because I don't know how. I'm handicapped by anxiety and insecurities!

To see technology in use so I can get ideas to adapt to my own teaching, and be less afraid to try out new things.

To expand by understand and confident use of new technologies (at least new to me) that I can easily deploy into the classroom environment
