Micro grommets and pocket grooves provide more touch and control feeling whilst also reducing aerodynamic drag. Micro grommets have tapered edges rather than the conventional circular grommet shape resulting in a tighter fit improving shuttle feedback and control.

Softening the impact of the shuttle on the string bed to improve touch and feel has traditionally been delivered through softening the grommets at 3 and 9 o’clock. Tasked with improving control by over 50%, we have thrown away the rule book creating a revolutionary frame profile. The grommetless construction at 3 and 9 o’clock ensures direct contact between the cross strings and the racket frame. The increased synergy between the two racket elements ensures razor sharp racket control and feedback.

When analysing the Biomechanics of badminton shot making, it is possible to see the racket rotate fluidly through the air. To execute perfect technique it is important that the racket works with the mechanics of your body and not against you.

Conventional rackets are only aerodynamic within a single plane meaning for many phases of the stroke the racket is aerodynamically inefficient leading to slower racket head speeds and instability. The Kinesis features a unique vortex shedding frame geometry providing a twisted aerodynamic profile in the hoop reflexively tracing the biomechanics of your stroke increasing racket head speed and manoeuvrability. Combined with the control enhancingMicro grommet system the Kinesis delivers a superior aerodynamic package that allows the racket to shred faster through the air for more penetrating shots.

Utilising a traditional wide body frame profile that is wider in the throat area than conventional frames, T-joint torsional stiffness is increased ensuring pin-point accuracy and perfect control with every shot.

By flattening the T-joint section, torsional twist is minimised on shuttle impact providing a stable platform improving shot accuracyand control.

By increasing the graphite content across the top of the racket head, greater swing momentum isachieved delivering enhanced racket power. The increased concentrationof graphite in the T-joint area decreases torsional twist providing superior racket control.

By combining the larger sweetspot size (resulting from the isometric geometry) and the increased air speed and control (created by the smaller conventional / Circometric geometry) within the same head shape, the new Optimetric head geometry delivers both power, airspeed and control in one frame.

By increasing main string length, the sweet spot area is maximised generating more power and ensuring a higher percentage of shots are hit with perfect timing.

Features a traditional oval shaped frame top section providing a compact hitting area for superior control, touch and feel. The smaller head geometry also delivers increased swing speed versus isometric frames.

By introducing 4 convex channels into the top cap, stiffness of the top cap is increased allowing for greater shot accuracy and control.

Using a matrix structure, Carlton has re-engineered the end capto reduce its weight by 28% contributing to overallenhanced playability.

Utilising a carbon inner core andPU outer coating, a direct carbonlink is established between shaftand handle enhancing powertransfer and sensory feedback resulting from shuttle impact.

Sourced from Japan, Japanese Hi Modulus (HM) Carbon is the highest specification carbon available on the market ensuring your Carlton frame will outperform all other construction materials for frame responseand stability.

The new Aero Slim cross sectional profile has been minimised compared to competitor frames. This reduction in size has allowed Carlton to increase the amount of construction material within the shaft, maximising force generation with no impact on weight.
