NB: Payment will be made in accordance with the T & R Pastoral price grid on the day.The Society reserves the right to alter the judging method. Exhibitors will be advised of any changes as early as possible.

SLAUGHTER OF LED STEERSIn an effort to reduce the number of dark cutters often caused by stress to animals the RA&HS Beef Cattle Committee will be loading steers for T&R Pastoral in the early hours of Friday morning. This will allow steers to relax and sleep following a full day of judging, parading, photos etc.All exhibitors will be required to feed and water thier animals after judging on the Thursday afternoon prior to packing up and leaving. It is also recommended that a small amount of hay is left in front of each steer.Exhibitors will be required to tie their steers up with a halter supplied by the RA&HS before they leave.Carcase information and figures will be presented at the Presentation of Awards at 6.30 pm on Saturday 15 September 2012 at the Adelaide Showground.

ENTRY PASSES - SCHOOLSSchools entering in the Led Steer section will receive 12 one-day tickets per animal entered (to a maximum of 60 one-day tickets per school per day of exhibiting, i.e. Wednesday and Thursday.)

USE OF LOFTSDuring the Led Steer Competition the use of lofts for storage of feed and equipment will be strictly forbidden. A section at the end of each bay will be allocated for storage purposes.
