In 2011, the total export quantity of Chinese solar water heaters was 639 thousand units, with an increase of 22.5% compared to 2010.

The total export value for Chinese solar water heaters grew continuously from 2010 to 2011, which has achieved 124 million dollars in 2011, up 14.6% over 2010.

As can be seen from the line chart of 2010-2011 Chinese solar water heaters monthly export quantity, March hit the peak of the whole year, and then export quantity decreased month by month. The exporting situation bottomed out from August to October, and November grew fast again, which reached the second exporting high point.

Furthermore, according to the growth rate of Chinese solar water heaters export quantity in 2010, 11 months’ grew in different extent year on year, except November’s.

In the first half of 2012, Chinese solar water heaters achieved an export quantity of 310 thousand units, with a drop of 15.7% year on year; and the export value reached 61 million dollars, down 6.1% year on year.

The major importers were Mexico, South Africa, Germany, India, Mauritius, Republic of Korea, Romania, Vietnam, Poland and Lebanon and so on.

The major exporting cities/provinces were Zhejiang province and Jiangsu province, in which Zhejiang’s cumulative export value of Chinese solar water heaters occupied more than an half of the total export value of Chinese solar water heaters.
