• Recognize the jurisdictions that were in the original Henrico shire (1634)

• Finance activities using public and private funding

The 2011 Commission has

recommended the 2011 logo designed by Joel Archibald that has been approved by the

Board of Supervisors.

The 2011 Commission is

• working with the RMCVB consultants to develop www.henrico400th.com

• preparing a large Henrico brochure with a map, sites and historical facts

History Legacy Projects• The History of Henrico County update by

Dr. Louis Manarin • School & school system history compiled and

displayed through posters, brochures, video, and more

• 1611- 2011 Data Book • Data and contact requests – 15 General Government

departments; Schools; and 6 non-County agencies

• Data to be located on the 2011 website and used for speeches, exhibits and brochures
