MORE THAN INSURANCE
The FIATC Foundation Clinic promotes scientific research and dissemination in the field of traumatology and sports medicine through the organization of conferences and publications. The work carried out by FIATC and the Foundation Clinic in the field of healthcare will be boosted by the opening of the Diagonal Clinic in Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona.
In order to increase its services for the insured, FIATC has become active in services for the elderly through Inverfiatc, an organization that is majority owned by FIATC, with the construction of new residences
in the Barcelona area. The first, the Blau Almeda
Residential Centre, opened in September 2006. A new residence and a block of sheltered housing
flats are currently under construction in Sant Cugat.
Our social commitment has led us to collaborate with the TV3 Marathon, an initiative that works each year to raise funds for those most
in need, especially for health reasons. We also work in partnership with the Children's Homes project for the construction of young people’s shelters with socio-educational support. In terms of culture, we are sponsors of the
Gran Teatre del Liceu
and Montserrat Abbey.
