Annoyed by gravity working on your dress? A few pieces of double- sided tape or dress tape will help solve the problem and keep your top in place. You can find dress tapes at drug stores. Stick it in your purse or coat pocket incase you need to reapply later. 3. Put a tin of mints in your pocket to ensure fresh breath -- without annoying your friends or date by chomping on gum the whole night. 5. The winter air is super dry, so avoid static by stashing a mini bottle of static guard in your purse or in your car. The night will be electric enough without the static shock. 6. “We [Total Tan] sold our spray tan about two years ago. Formal is the start of our busy season. It usu-ally picks up by a couple hundred people.”

senior Samantha Scrogham

“eat at home! My freshman year one of my friend’s moms made salad, soup, sandwiches and pasta for everyone. It was great!”

junior Karen Ma

“Well my group is going to bravo. It’s just an afford-able fun place to spend the evening before a dance, plus the Italian food will give you enough carbs to keep you full through the night!”

senior Mitch Keller

“For dinner I will be car pooling to greenwood for a reservation at The Cheesecake Factory for 12-13 people.”

sophomore robert Babcock

not sure how to tip? First check your cell phone to see if it has an tip calculator. If it does not here is an easy way to get that tricky 15 percent. Move the decimal point over one spot to the left. That is 10 percent. Divide that number by two and add it to the first. now just add that 15 percent on to the total bill. Many restaurants will include automatic gratuity if our party is eight people or more so be sure you are not paying tip twice.
