The School of Mount St. Marywas founded in 1997 with the vision
of providing quality education in theregional environment.
The school opened its campus
in June 1998 with its initial programoffering catering to the pre-school
and grade school student
population. The same year, theSchool of Mount St. Mary was
recognized by the DECS for the
schools quality of education.

The following year, in 1999, the Schoolof Mount St. Mary immediately opened itsHigh School program for the first two year
levels.For the schools third year of
operation, the third year high school programwas opened, along with a new school
building. In the year 2001, the high schoolprogram was completed, with the first batchof fourth year students graduating in the year
2002. In the year 2002,The DECS recognized School of Mount
St. Marys high school program. Beginning
2003, the school established its Care GiverProgram and immediately received its full
accreditation from TESDA.
