Conference Objectives1. Learn skills and take part in brand new experiences

that will enable participants to provide leadership in their Club and community for academic success, career preparation and community service projects and activities.

2. Demonstrate good character as participants promote the values of unity, freedom, justice, democracy and opportunity for all.

3. Develop an increased awareness and appreciation of diversity and the value of tolerance.

4. Establish positive relationships with Keystoners from throughout the U.S. and across the globe.

5. Engage in thought-provoking sessions and hands-on learning opportunities.

•Saturday: Shackelton’s Way Full Day Leadership workshop for Keystone Presidents and or Vice Presidents.

•Saturday: Community Service Project

Advisors will receive an email once registration is open for these experiences and

opportunities.

They will be able to register their members via the online registration site.

Expectations of Keystoners• Must attend all sessions

• Co-ed visitation not allowed (unless meeting with advisor)

• Show respect and courtesy at all times

• Wear appropriate attire

• Listen and respect other advisors, presenters, staff, volunteers, etc.

• Cell phones, iPods, PDAs must be turned off while in sessions

Conference Tips• Show up early to sessions• Be prepared for long days• Split up: don’t go to the same sessions as

peers from your Club. • Step out of your comfort zone! • Get your Rest: Actually sleep at night! • Network with other Teens and Keystone

Clubs• Plan what sessions you are going to attend

ahead• Bring snacks for in your room• Have Fun!
