It has been written ona reduced stave of 1, 2 or 3 lines in order todevelop the skill of hearing the music fromthe page. The songs are classified by theirnote range, using solfa symbols and hand-signs to identify relative pitches. The collec-tion starts with the so mi interval and movesprogressively to cover the complete majorpentatonic scale. These intervals are easier to pitch accurately and have theadded advantage of working in canon.
