Clever Clogs & The Cunning Princess Created by Multi Story theatre

Sat 15 May 11am & 2.30pm

Clever Clogs the soldier wants more excitement than guarding a tower. the princess doesn’t want to marry a daft prince – however rich. When the Naughty imp appears, they are thrown together on an adventure where they’ll need to use all their best tricks to outwit him!

it’s not easy making friends, especially when you live in a lighthouse. When the supply boat comes there’s a chance for a party but the keeper’s nervousness turns a delight into a disaster. but when a storm blows in and a real disaster looms can he find the courage to save the day and his friendship?

the Selfish Giant built a wall around his garden to keep the children out. but it also kept Spring away so that it was always Winter. then one morning the Giant looked out and saw a most wonderful sight…

bob looks after the moon. each day he has breakfast and boards his rocket for the journey. he vacuums the craters and enjoys a picnic. but there’s one thing he’s blissfully unaware of: alieNS! this delightful show is inspired by Simon bartram’s award-winning children’s book.

The Nightingale Created by aNGel heart theatre

in a far away land an emperor believes he has everything! then he discovers a nightingale living in the green woods, beside the deep blue sea with a beautiful song…hans Christian andersen’s enchanting story is brought to life by shadow theatre, beautiful puppetry and live music.

Billy Goats Gruff Created by GarliC theatre

this is the simple story of three hungry goats and a grumpy old troll, told as a gentle ecological message with puppets, live music and singing. Watch out for the dance of the goats and the flying troll.

LighthouseKeeper’s Lunch Created by Pied PiPer theatre

Mr Grinling is a lighthouse keeper. every day Mrs Grinling makes him lunch and sends it to him across the sea – but some greedy seagulls keep stealing his food! adapted from the classic children’s book, join Mr & Mrs Grinling as they learn that to triumph sometimes takes time, patience and… mustard.

Peter & The Wolf Created by Sea leGS PuPPet theatre

Join the Story Man on his search for new tales as he ventures to a russian forest and meets an old man who tells him about the day Peter caught the big hungry wolf. after their charming show Ugly Duckling, Sea legs use a brilliant musical score to tell Prokofiev’s famous story.

The Dragon’s Daughter Created by bluNderbuS theatre

once upon a time a little boy spent his days imagining adventures. but one night a tiny ball of light fell from the sky and in front of him sat a scared little dragon. from the makers of Giraffes Can’t Dance, this is a magical story told with beautifully carved puppets about a boy and a dragon who become the best of friends.

How the Koala Learnt to Hug Created by SteveN lee & the PeoPle’S theatre CoMPaNy

Written by the author of children’s favourites The Witch’s Bogey and Bink And The Hairy Fairy, this is a tale about the magic of family and the importance of a hug! Join us and a host of wild characters including Karen the Koala for some great stories, sing along songs and games.

Ages 4+ 60 mins + interval* byob screenings are intended for grown ups, as such they may contain material intended for adults. Call us for more information and bbfc consumer advice.

You can visit the cinema without having to find a babysitter or worrying about your baby causing a disturbance. every month we have screenings of the latest films for parents, carers and their babies aged up to 1 year old.

We’ve got a pram park, soft lighting and nappy changing facilities to keep you and your little one happy.

Give your rubbish a second chanceif you are aged 5-11 and live locally we want you to use your old newspapers, empty cans, bottles and boxes to create a model of the Croydon Clocktower.

Age Rangesall our shows have age recommendations, but these are just guidelines – you know your children best of all. Children can only be admitted with adult supervision. We welcome babies, but if your child cries we ask that you take them outside – except for byob film screenings!
