Great design is in the details, and this is the exact philosophy we took when developing our new series of RossTec® rod and reel cases. While most rod cases look fairly similar side-by-side, it is the quality of materials and the care in construction that really matters! This determines just how well your gear will be protected when traveling or in storage. Our focus on detail puts the RossTec cases in a class of their own!

Each case is constructed with industrial grade tubing that is lined with a smooth, abrasion-resistant nylon liner. It is then wrapped in 1000 denier Cordura that is treated with our proprietary RossTec® coating; providing increased water repellency and abrasion resistance. High-density foam is added throughout the case to further ensure the safety of your gear. Custom molded end caps are secured to the case bottom and reel pouch to provide an additional level of protection. Each case is fitted with an adjustable shoulder strap, and a custom molded non-slip shoulder pad to comfortably hold it in place. The zippers are also custom molded from a similar non-slip rubber material to guarantee easy access to you gear, even when your hands are wet. The Pescador 6 and Pescador 7.5 fishing pliers are the ultimate fishing tools for saltwater, freshwater and warmwater

anglers. The pliers are machined from aircraft grade, 6061-T6 proprietary aluminum stock. While most

aluminum pliers are made from standard 6061-T6 stock, we have chosen to use

a proprietary blend which provides greater strength and rigidity, while still providing a beautifully

machined finish and vibrant coloration. These incredible pliers fit comfortably in hand and have ventilated arms for a lightweight feel. The tungsten carbide

cutters effortlessly slice through virtually all sizes of fishing specific monofilaments, wires and

braided lines. The pliers have ample jaw strength to safely remove hooks, tighten knots, crimp sleeves and connect wires. We have also incorporated a medium grit diamond-coated sharpening stone into the top of the pliers’ jaw for easy hook sharpening. The Pescador pliers are shipped complete with a high quality custom designed cordura sheath and self-coiling safety lanyard. The concept of Perfect Balance has long been debated in the world of fly fishing. Spend just one day in a fly shop and you will inevitably see somebody trying to balance a fly rod and reel on the top of their finger in an effort to determine the correct match between rod and reel. Most would agree that hanging a reel below and slightly forward of your casting hand will move the center of gravity away from the reel seat, thereby improving the balance between the rod and reel. However, balance is a subjective term and Ross has ingeniously solved this problem with the introduction of the first reel arm; allowing an angler to adjust the forward position of a fly reel on a rod.

The beauty of the Balance adjustable arm is that it can be used with any fly reel. Attachment is no different than locking your reel into a rod seat. No tools are required and no modifications must to be made to your reel.
