These air bags provide nearly instantaneous occupant protection by matching air bag output to crash severity. Standard supplemental side-curtain air bags[1] with roll-sensing technology deploy from the headliner to provide side-impact protection to outboard occupants. This technology keeps side-curtain air bags deployed longer in the event of a rollover. All models also include driver’s inflatable knee blockers as standard equipment.

antilOcK braKE systEM (abs). State-of-the-art electronics allow Caliber’s available antilock brake system to provide faster response time than previous systems. ABS helps prevent wheel-lock and helps maintain directional control when braking on slippery surfaces.
