InvitationOn behalf of the organizing committee I cordially invite you to the“SNU Global Research Frontiership: The 1st Forum” under the themeof “Biofuel and Biorefinery from Lignocellulosics”Coming into 21th century, lignocellulosic materials are newlyevaluated as alternatives for fossil resources in terms of theirabundance and carbon neutral resources in nature. Globally concernsand research activities are rapidly directed to the creative utilization oflignocellulosic materials for the sake of diminishing the dependencyon the fossil resources as well as reducing green house gas emission. This program will include three major topics about international/domesticresearch trends of lignocellulosics, innovative conversion technologyof lignocellulosics to biofuels and biochemical transformation ofbiomass to eco-friendly biorefinery chemicals. All invited speakers areinternationally highly honorable specialists and will deliver the currentstate-of-arts in their research fields. We will expect that this forum will be an initiative to provide the bestsolution for need of our generation “low carbon and green growth”aswell as to maximize our research activities on biofuels and biorefinerytechnology based on lignocellulosics.

We will deeply appreciate for sparing your precious times andinterests.
