missing in the packaged application based on the requirements– Designing the metadata to accommodate new KPIs, source columns. Rearrange
the presentation catalog to support new naming conventions and grouping– Designing the dashboards and reports based on the gap analysis– Validating the performance of the reports and dashboards and provide a
performance tuning plan to the data base architect– Validating the authentication mechanism, access control and design changes if
there are any gaps
Deliverable– Data Model Design Document– ETL Design Document– Metadata Design Document– Report/Dashboard Design Document

– Validate the data for the new ETL jobs
– Develop user authentication, report access control and user access control
– Performance tune the metadata and also the data mart

– Data Lineage documentation and tool
Step 5: Deploy
Goal– Interview users to determine any gaps
– Optimize solution to lower TCO and enhance ROI
– Start vision workshop for next phase
Deliverable – Survey Results
– Application Roadmap Document
– Vision Workshop Report
